THESIS SUMMARY
Topic: Solutions to the sustainable development of sea ecotourism in Nam Dinh Province
Objectives:
The thesis is aimed at evaluating current status and tourism potentials of Nam Dinh’s sea and applying theories and practical experiences to propose a number of appropriate and feasible solutions in order to contribute to developing coastal areas in Nam Dinh province by 2015 and forming the sustainable sea ecotourism model as well as expanding it to all coastal areas in the province.
Solutions to the issue:
The thesis includes three chapters:
Chapter one: Theoretical foundation for sea ecotourism and sustainable development
Chapter two: The evaluation on potentials and current situation of sea ecotourism development in Nam Dinh province
Chapter 3: Solutions to the sustainable development of sea ecotourism in Nam Dinh Province

The thesis has already given the evaluation on potentials and current situation of sustainable sea ecotourism development in Nam Dinh province. By which, it has proposed three solutions to develop Nam Dinh province’s sea ecotourism sustainably by 2015. Specifically, the scope of this thesis is applied in Giao Thuy district, and then extended to all coastal areas in the province to make contribution to the stronger and more sustainable socioeconomic development of the province.
New issue:
The issue presented in the thesis is also the common concern in the general development orientation of the country in general and of the province in particular. The purpose of this orientation is to develop sea ecotourism with increasingly high quality to meet the maximum demand of tourists and to ensure the sustainable development of sea ecotourism which helps turn Nam Dinh’s sea to be an attractive destination for both local and international visitors.
Unsolved problems:
Due to time constrain and small scale of this master thesis, this thesis only gives initial assessment and suggests orientating solution. In addition, data for this thesis are referential ones.
Recommendations:
The State should consider Nam Dinh’s coastal areas to the development strategy of Vietnam’s sea by 2020 to attract more investment for these areas.
Furthermore, enterprises and local community should conduct specific and selective researches to contribute to the course of sustainable sea ecotourism development which helps efficiently exploit and protect tourism potentials.

TÓM TẮT NỘI DUNG LUẬN VĂN
Đề tài: Giải pháp phát triển du lịch sinh thái biển Nam Định
theo hướng bền vững
Mục tiêu đặt ra:
Đáng giá thực trạng và tiềm năng phát triển du lịch sinh thái biển Nam Định, vận dụng lý thuyết và thực tế, nhằm tìm được một số giải pháp phù hợp, thiết thực và cụ thể, góp phần xây dựng phát triển vùng ven biển Nam Định đến năm 2015 hình thành mô hình du lịch sinh thái biển theo hướng bền vững và phát triển nhân rộng ra toàn vùng ven biển của tỉnh.
Giải quyết vấn đề:
Đưa ra 3 chương của luận văn bao gồm
Chương 1: Cơ sở lý thuyết về du lich sinh thái biển và phát triển bền vững
Chương 2: Đánh giá tiềm năng và thực trạng phát triển du lịch sinh thái biển tại Nam Định
Chương 3: Các giải pháp phát triển du lịch sinh thái biển Nam Định theo hướng bền vững
Kết quả đạt được:
Luận văn đã đánh giá tiềm năng và thực trạng phát triển du lịch sinh thái của vùng ven biển Nam Định theo hướng bền vững. Qua đó, luận văn đã đề xuất được ba giải pháp phát triển du lịch sinh thái biển Nam Định theo hướng bền vững đến năm 2015 phạm vi tại huyện Giao Thuỷ để từ đó nhân rộng ra toàn vùng ven biển của tỉnh góp phần phát triển kinh tế - xã hội tỉnh Nam Định ngày càng phát triển mạnh và bền vững.
Vấn đề mới:
Vấn đề luận văn đề cập nằm trong định hướng chung của cả nước, của tỉnh Nam Đinh, mục tiêu là phát triển sản phẩm du lịch sinh thái biển có chất lượng ngày càng cao đáp ứng nhu cầu tối đa của du khách, đồng thời đảm bảo phát triển du lịch sinh thái bền vững nhằm đưa vùng ven biển Nam Định thành địa chỉ du lịch sinh thái hấp dẫn của cả nước và thế giới.
Vấn đề chưa được giải quyết:
Do thời gian có hạn và quy mô luận văn Thạc sĩ, chỉ mới đánh giá sơ bộ và đưa ra giải pháp dưới dạng quan điểm định hướng, số liệu đưa vào mới chỉ là số liệu tham khảo.
Khuyến nghị:
Nhà nước cần đưa vùng vên biển Nam Định vào trong chiến lược phát Biển
Việt Nam đến năm 2020 để thu hút đầu tư phát triển nhanh và mạnh
Nhà nước, các doanh nghiệp và cộng đồng địa phương cần có nghiên cứu cụ thể và có chọn lọc để góp phần vào công cuộc phát triển du lịch mạnh và bền vững, qua đó có thể khai thác và bảo vệ được tiềm năng tài nguyên du lịch.
