The survey results show that the proposed measures and specific implementation measures are considered necessary and feasible by the majority of respondents.
The measures to "promote and create conditions for teachers of industrial engineering and agricultural engineering to participate in vocational education and general vocational training for students right at their schools; build a team of collaborators including parents, former students who have graduated and achieved success; have a suitable vocational education and training regime; increase funding for vocational education activities. Mobilize and ensure facilities, conditions, means, and equipment for vocational education activities and strengthen the direction of professional activities, organize vocational education activities well; organize preliminary and final summaries, and draw lessons for vocational education activities" are the measures that achieve the highest average rate.
In addition, the measures with the highest average feasibility rate include measures to "propagandize to managers, teachers, students and other forces about the importance of career education activities; propagate and influence teachers, students and parents about career education in many forms; mobilize artisans to participate in teaching career guidance".
vocational education and training for traditional occupations of the locality and the country; have appropriate vocational education and training regimes for those involved in vocational education; invest in innovation in methods and forms of organizing vocational education activities to promote students' positivity, independence and creativity; coordinate with the Youth Union to integrate vocational education content into extracurricular activities; and coordinate with social organizations inside and outside the school to organize propaganda and education on awareness of vocational education activities.
Some measures still have a rate of non-implementation (infeasible) and unnecessary but the rate is also very low.
The above survey results show that the necessity and feasibility of the proposed measures have been initially confirmed. In recent practice, some of the above measures have been tested at Vinh Long City High School and have had quite good results. However, these are only initial results that are not reliable enough, so we have not included them in this thesis; in the coming time, we will fully implement the measures to confirm their feasibility.
Chapter 3 Summary
Based on the theory and practice of vocational education in Vinh Long city high schools and on the principles for developing measures, the author has proposed 06 basic measures suitable for the practice of vocational education in Vinh Long city, while ensuring compliance with the principles and legal basis for proposing those measures. With the above survey results, the author initially affirmed the feasibility of the proposed measures in managing vocational education activities in Vinh Long city high schools. On that basis, in order to improve the effectiveness of managing vocational education activities in Vinh Long city high schools, we need to synchronously implement 06 groups of basic measures, including:
+ Group of measures to raise awareness of GDHN activities
+ Group of measures to build and train a team of people doing career guidance work in high schools
+ Group of measures to innovate educational content, methods and forms of organizing vocational education activities in general schools
+ Group of measures to organize career counseling for students in high schools
+ Group of measures to strengthen facilities and equipment for career guidance work; socialize career guidance activities
+ Group of measures to strengthen the principal's management responsibility for career education
In each group of measures, it is necessary to identify strong and effective contents to promote positivity. At the same time, find out ineffective contents, limitations and weaknesses to overcome and have specific measures to improve the implementation level and effectiveness of that content to improve the quality of vocational education management, which results in helping students make the right career choice for the future.
