Testing the Urgency and Feasibility of Proposed Measures

3.3.7.4. Conditions for implementation of the measure

- Closely follow documents 1344/SGD&DT - GDTrH of Phu Tho Department of Education and Training on instructions for evaluating teachers' teaching hours.

- Establish an internal school inspection team according to the principal's decision.

- Must have an internal audit plan, decide to establish an internal audit committee, assign tasks to members, and publicize the audit plan.

- There must be criteria for evaluating, classifying groups and classifying teachers.

3.4. Relationship between measures

The measures proposed in the thesis have a dialectical relationship with each other, supporting each other in the process of managing innovation in teaching methods. Therefore, it is necessary to implement them synchronously and closely coordinate to promote their effectiveness, minimizing the use of each separate and discrete measure. All 7 measures mentioned above aim at a common goal of improving the effectiveness of managing innovation in teaching methods of natural sciences subjects in secondary schools. However, based on the practical situation and conditions of each school, the management staff should consider and choose to focus on prioritizing the use of each appropriate measure to bring about high efficiency.

In order to meet the requirements of current educational innovation and keep up with the innovation of programs, contents, and textbooks starting from the 2019-2020 school year, it is very necessary to innovate teaching methods for natural science subjects in secondary schools. Applying the above measures well will bring about effectiveness in the management of innovation in teaching methods in general and natural science subjects in particular. All 7 measures proposed in the thesis are closely related to each other, forming a system of measures. The results of this measure are the premise and basis for the other measure, they complement and develop together, the full and creative implementation of the measures will contribute to improving the quality of education in secondary schools.

3.5. Testing the urgency and feasibility of proposed measures

3.5.1. Purpose of testing

The survey aims to assess the awareness of managers and specialists of the Department of Education and Training; managers and teachers of natural science subjects at secondary schools in Lam Thao district about the necessity and feasibility of innovative management measures for natural science subjects in order to have appropriate adjustment measures.

3.5.2. Test content

To assess the urgency and feasibility of the proposed groups of measures, I collected information from 154 questionnaires, including 03 questionnaires from managers and specialists of the Department of Education and Training, 31 questionnaires from principals, vice principals and 120 questionnaires from group leaders and teachers of natural sciences at 15 secondary schools in the district. The survey results are summarized in Table 3.2 and shown in the chart.

Chart 3.1. Urgency and feasibility of groups of measures

Through table 3.2 and chart 3.1, it can be seen that the majority of managers, specialists of the Department of Education and Training; managers and teachers of natural science subjects at secondary schools all agree that the Principal needs to implement innovative management measures for teaching methods of natural science subjects at secondary schools in Lam Thao district - Phu Tho.

Most of the respondents said that all 7 measures for innovative management of teaching methods for natural science subjects in secondary schools are very necessary and very feasible; The rate of assessment from the level of necessity/feasibility and above reached 100%, the level of very necessary measures all reached 90% and above.

The above test results show that the proposed measures are all assessed as necessary and feasible. These are advantages for the management of innovation in teaching methods for natural science subjects in secondary schools in Lam Thao district - Phu Tho if these measures are applied in the innovation of teaching methods in general and natural science subjects in particular.

Chapter 3 Conclusion

Through theoretical research on teaching methods, teaching method innovation, management of teaching method innovation in natural science subjects and through surveying the current status of management of teaching method innovation in natural science subjects at secondary schools in Lam Thao district - Phu Tho; From the orientation of secondary education development in general and the development orientation of the Education and Training sector in Lam Thao district in particular, the thesis has proposed principles to determine measures to manage teaching method innovation in natural science subjects at secondary schools in Lam Thao district. From the theoretical basis and analysis of the current situation, determining feasibility, the thesis has proposed 7 measures to manage teaching method innovation in natural science subjects at secondary schools in Lam Thao district.

Measures to manage innovation in teaching methods of natural sciences in secondary schools in Lam Thao district are proposed to impact all subjects and stages of the process of managing innovation in teaching methods of natural sciences, from raising awareness of the need to innovate teaching methods of natural sciences for managers, professional groups and teachers to managing the development of plans to innovate teaching methods of natural sciences; organizing training for managers and professional group leaders to manage innovation in teaching methods of natural sciences; directing teachers to innovate testing and evaluating learning outcomes and fostering active learning methods for students; managing and exploiting facilities and equipment to serve innovation in teaching methods of natural sciences; measures to test and evaluate innovation in teaching methods of natural sciences and building mechanisms, creating motivation to promote innovation in teaching methods of natural sciences. Thereby creating a comprehensive and synchronous impact on innovation in teaching methods of natural sciences in secondary schools in Lam Thao district.

The results of the survey of leaders, experts of the Department of Education and Training; managers and teachers directly teaching natural science subjects have demonstrated that the measures proposed by the thesis are urgent and highly feasible, which are the basis for applying innovative management measures for teaching methods of natural science subjects in Lam Thao district, and at the same time open up directions for further research and development of the thesis.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Conclusion

Innovation in teaching methods for natural science subjects at the present time plays an extremely important role because it directly contributes to improving the quality of teaching and learning while preparing for the implementation of curriculum innovation and textbook replacement from the 2019-2020 school year. Due to many different reasons, this activity is facing many obstacles and difficulties, not bringing high efficiency, especially in managing innovation in teaching methods for natural science subjects in secondary schools in Lam Thao district - Phu Tho;

To solve the above obstacles and difficulties, through research I found that it is necessary to find a management method suitable to the characteristics and conditions of Lam Thao district. With appropriate research methods and approaches, the obstacles and difficulties have been solved quite satisfactorily in this topic. Based on the analysis of the current situation, I have proposed 7 groups of measures for the management of innovation in teaching methods of natural sciences subjects in secondary schools in Lam Thao district, specifically including:

- Raising awareness of the need to innovate teaching methods for natural science subjects for managers, professional organizations and teachers;

- Manage the development of plans to innovate teaching methods for natural science subjects;

- Organize training for managers and professional team leaders to manage innovation in teaching methods for natural science subjects;

- Direct teachers to innovate testing, evaluate learning outcomes and foster active learning methods for students;

- Manage and exploit facilities and equipment to serve the innovation of teaching methods for natural science subjects;

- Measures to test and evaluate innovative teaching methods for natural science subjects;

- Build mechanisms and create motivation to promote innovation in teaching methods of natural science subjects.

Implementing well the above groups of measures will create a comprehensive and synchronous dynamic strength for the innovation of teaching methods in natural science subjects. These measures are implemented under the principle of educational management affecting all stages of the management process, mobilizing all resources for innovation of teaching methods.

By soliciting opinions on the urgency and feasibility of the measures, the results showed that the proposed measures are completely urgent and feasible.
