INTRODUCTION

1. Reason for choosing the topic

The quality of a good school or not is determined by the team of teachers in that school, and teaching is the central activity of the school. The teacher's task is to educate and teach according to the program's objectives to help learners develop their positivity, initiative and creativity, know how to apply the learned knowledge to daily life and form good moral feelings. Therefore, it is necessary to synchronously innovate the elements of the teaching and learning process, especially the teaching methods to carry out this process in the direction of approaching students' abilities. The impact of managers on the teaching and learning process contributes to the formation and comprehensive development of learners' personalities according to the training objectives set out, which is to manage teaching and learning activities.

Current teaching activities are only one-way transmission from teachers to students, students passively receive knowledge from teachers without actively receiving knowledge, leading to low quality of teaching hours. Teaching and management activities at FPT High School Hanoi have recently had positive changes, but the results are still not as expected. The staff and teachers basically meet the requirements of the tasks set out in changing new teaching methods to promote positivity, initiative, and creativity to develop students' abilities. However, the activities during students' evening self-study hours are still formal and only manage, not arousing the ability to self-study, create and explore new things, leading to a decrease in students' positivity, initiative, and creativity. Students are still used to the old way of waiting and relying on teachers and families, leading to a state of indifference in studying, practicing, and other activities. Although the teaching staff is regularly trained and fostered on innovation in teaching activities towards developing students' capacity, the application is not as expected, leading to low efficiency. Most of the school's managers are recruited from teachers with many achievements and experience in teaching, good professional capacity but weak in educational management skills. Not only

However, the management of school activities is still heavily formalistic. Breakthrough decisions in innovation of school activities are significantly affected.

Therefore, we have chosen the research topic: "Managing teaching activities at FPT High School, Hanoi in the direction of developing students' capacity" to contribute to improving the quality of teaching and education of the school, meeting the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education.

THEORETICAL BASIS OF TEACHING AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES MANAGEMENT

IN THE DIRECTION OF DEVELOPING STUDENTS' ABILITIES IN HIGH SCHOOL

1.1. Overview of research problem

1.1.1. Some studies on teaching activities towards developing students' capacity

In Vietnam, issues related to teaching activities have always been of great interest, especially in the current period of comprehensive educational reform. This activity has had many research works such as those of the authors: Dang Quoc Bao [2], Nguyen Thi My Loc, Nguyen Quoc Chi [17], Nguyen Phuc Chau [15]... and a number of experienced teachers are also interested in the issue of teaching activities and developing students' capacity in teaching practice in Vietnam: Phan Trong Ngo [30], Do Tien Sy [37].

Some research works that can be mentioned are: Teaching and teaching methods in schools by author Phan Trong Ngo [30]; Innovation in teaching methods in high schools by author Tran Ba Hoanh [24]; Testing and evaluation in education by author Nguyen Cong Khanh [27]; Handbook for Principals: strategies and practical advice to help work more effectively by author Pam Robbins Harvy B.Alvy [34]; Management of innovation in teaching methods in high schools by author Do Tien Si [37]; Theoretical basis for assessing the learning quality of high school students by author Hoang Duc Nhuan - Le Duc Phuc [31] or Basic issues of modern education by author Thai Duy Tuyen [38].

Teachers organize teaching activities in the direction of developing students' capacity by focusing on regular assessment of all students. This regular assessment can be based on many aspects: through classroom activities, students' learning records, notebooks, through reports on the results of learning projects, research or the results of their practice and experiments, through presentations (articles, slides, videos...) reporting on the results of performing tasks.

learning that teachers give. Teachers can use these forms of assessment and continue to improve the requirements for applying interdisciplinary knowledge into practice; reasonably combine essay and objective test forms, and theoretical and practical tests in testing.

Teachers need to prioritize training students in self-study and research methods, along with spending a lot of time in class for students to practice, perform, present, debate and defend their learning outcomes; teachers synthesize, comment, evaluate and conclude so that students can understand and apply that knowledge to life.

Teaching and educational activities are two activities that always go together. The common goal that both of these activities aim for is to develop the personality of the learner in a comprehensive way. Looking from the perspective of human consciousness and active living activities, the process in which the teacher, through leadership, control, organization, makes the learner active, self-conscious, proactively self-organize, self-control their learning and cognitive activities with the goal of performing teaching tasks, is called teaching and learning activities.

In class, teachers need to strengthen the organization of activities, propose and select, complete questions and test exercises according to the orientation of capacity development; build quality open learning resources on the electronic information pages of the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Education and Training and schools.

1.1.2. Some studies on managing teaching activities towards developing students' capacity

Educational management is defined as a conscious activity carried out by managers to achieve their management goals. Educational managers, together with teachers, students, social forces, etc., turn that goal into reality through specific activities. Teaching and education are unified and play a central role in schools. This central activity is the focus for other diverse school activities to focus on. School management is essentially understood as managing activities that take place mainly in the teaching and learning process, including the pedagogical process of teachers and other activities.
