During my time at Hai Phong Private University, I have received the dedicated guidance of teachers and the attention of teachers in the school's Board of Directors. I myself in particular and all final year students in general have grown up and learned many useful things. Teachers have created the best conditions for us to deeply penetrate into reality. In particular, we have the opportunity to verify what we have learned every day at school with real practical experiences. All the experiences and knowledge that teachers have equipped us with are valuable provisions for us to step into life and confidently walk on our career path.

Being able to do a graduation thesis is an honor for every student in general and myself in particular. This is an opportunity for students to test themselves, a practice step for each student's independence.

INTRODUCTION

1. Reason for choosing the topic

The world has entered the knowledge economy, along with the rapid development of science and technology, humanity has witnessed an explosion of tourism activities on a global scale. As the economy continues to develop, cultural and social life is increasingly improved, tourism becomes an indispensable need of the people.

The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has just released a report stating that the global tourism industry has recovered to the level before the global financial crisis in late 2008. According to UNWTO, the number of tourists worldwide in the first eight months of 2010 reached 642 million, an increase of about 40 million compared to the same period last year and 1 million higher than the year before the crisis in 2008. The international tourism industry is continuing its recovery process, after a 4.2% decline in 2009 due to the impact of the economic crisis.

UNWTO expects the industry to grow by 5-6% in 2010 and around 4% in 2011, with emerging economies continuing to be the "locomotives" pulling the "world tourism train". Although tourism in many parts of Europe and the Americas is still growing very slowly, many other destinations are showing growth potential with record numbers of visitors, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.

After being unexpectedly affected by the global economic and financial crisis in late 2008, Asia-Pacific is the first region in the world to show signs of recovery, with the number of international tourist arrivals increasing by an impressive 14% in the first eight months of 2010, 10 million more than the same period last year.

2008, in which most destinations achieved double-digit growth, with some even increasing by more than 20%.

UNWTO said there was strong growth in the Middle East, with a corresponding increase of 16%, and Africa (9%) thanks to the successful organization of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

UNWTO calls on governments to temporarily suspend increases in travel and air transport taxes to further promote the world tourism industry, contribute to job creation and stimulate economic growth.

(According to Vietnam News Agency article about "World tourism recovers rapidly in 2010".)

As the economy develops, the industrialization and modernization processes increase, promoting tourism development, which is a common development trend of the world. When population density is high, environmental pollution, noise pollution, dust, food crisis, etc., all the negative aspects of urban traffic have greatly affected people's lives.

While the tourism industry is growing and achieving high results, the agricultural sector in the world and Vietnam is facing many difficulties due to climate change, making the earth increasingly hotter, leading to many natural disasters, floods, droughts, etc., affecting the productivity of agricultural cultivation of the people. Moreover, investment costs for the agricultural sector such as buying fertilizers, seedlings, hiring workers, renting production machinery, etc. are higher than the price of agricultural products sold.

In addition, the economic development makes the urbanization process increasingly expanding, people concentrate on big cities to do business and live. Therefore, the authorities have decided to invest in building apartment complexes and high-rise buildings to solve the housing problem for residents. However, the urbanization process has made the agricultural land area increasingly narrow, many farmers no longer have fields to cultivate, their lives are not

Because of the economic situation, many farmers had to leave their villages and give up farming to go to the cities to make a living.

Agricultural tourism is a type of tourism that not only brings economic benefits to farmers, but also plays a huge role in preserving the countryside landscape, preserving the cultural identity of the homeland, increasing income for farmers right on their homeland, creating unique, attractive and highly competitive tourism products.

Ba Vi is a semi-mountainous district, located in the Northwest of Ha Tay province, 53 km from the provincial capital and Hanoi capital. Ba Vi is connected to other provinces and Hanoi capital by main roads such as: National Highway 32, Provincial Road 89A, ... and waterways through the Red River and Da River with a total length of 70 km.

53km from Hanoi, Ba Vi is famous for its wild beauty, bearing the imprint of a thousand years of history left from the time of Son Tinh - Thuy Tinh's battle. Mentioning Ba Vi is mentioning the legendary battle between Son Tinh - Thuy Tinh. The love triangle in the time of the 18th Hung King created the legendary beauty of Ba Vi.

Ba Vi has rich tourism resources. Perhaps nowhere else the landscapes of rivers, mountains, and old forests blend together and are as closely connected as here. The Ba Vi mountain area accounts for 42% of the district's total area, with the center being the 1,296 m high Ba Vi mountain, with a rich and rare flora and fauna.

For a long time, Ba Vi has been considered a tourist district, including 2 large areas: The eastern slope of Ba Vi mountain, with waterfalls, streams, and beautiful and poetic primeval forests, is a great potential for developing ecotourism. There are also cultural and historical relics such as Uncle Ho's temple, Thuong temple, Trung temple... which are very favorable for developing spiritual and cultural tourism.

The western slope of Ba Vi Mountain is also considered a place with potential for tourism development because of its beautiful terrain, one side is the mountain overlooking the Da River, creating its own appeal. The national tourist area of Suoi Hai Lake is the most attractive place with an area of

Along more than 2,000 hectares, there is a lake surface, there are small green islands promising visitors relaxing moments.

In addition, Ba Vi also has Thuan My hot mineral water source, which is convenient for exploiting resort tourism, health care... However, up to now, Ba Vi tourism activities have only stopped at some tourist areas located on the eastern slope of Ba Vi mountain such as: Khoang Xanh, Dam Long, Tan Da, Ao Vua... The places for tourists to visit are quite familiar and have not changed much in recent years.

Some of the large-scale tourist areas of Ba Vi currently include: Dong Mo golf course (rated as the leading golf course in the North at present), Khoang Xanh - Suoi Tien tourist area, Thac Da tourist area, Thien Son - Thac Nga tourist area, Suoi Mo tourist area, Ao Vua tourist area, Suoi Hai tourist area and Ba Vi National Park.

In addition, the potential for tourism development in Ba Vi can be seen on the green grasslands, farm systems with unique and attractive agricultural types, such as dairy farms, ostrich farms, goat farms, sheep farms, rabbit farms, honeybee farms, pineapple farms, etc., all of which can be exploited for tourism and service development. Among them, we can mention Dong Que Ba Vi Farm - a new model in Vietnam that exploits and develops agricultural tourism based on available agricultural products.

For the above reasons, I chose the topic "Research on agricultural tourism at Dong Que Farm - Ba Vi - Hanoi" as my thesis topic to provide everyone with a new type of tourism that is emerging in Vietnam, contributing a small part to the development of tourism activities in particular and the development of the economy in general of my homeland.

2. History of research on the problem

The development of agricultural and rural tourism has attracted the attention of scholars around the world since the 90s of the last century.
