In addition, the province has concreted 38 bridges, meeting the target of all bridges on the roads managed by the province, ensuring the bridge load is 18 tons or more.

Upgrading provincial road 769 into a national highway connecting National Highway 20, National Highway 1 with National Highway 51... will create a complete traffic network, serving the socio-economic development needs of the locality and region.

In order to further connect Dong Nai with other regions, the province focuses on developing direct roads connecting Ho Chi Minh City through District 9 with Nhon Trach new urban area and connecting with National Highway 51, National Highway 20... Note: Average length of guest days = Total guest days / Total number of guests Currently, the length of stay of international guests in Dong Nai is on a downward trend. Partly because the infrastructure in Dong Nai is still low, not enough to meet the needs of guests, on the other hand, entertainment services are still limited. In addition, the attraction of visitors to Ho Chi Minh City also contributes to the decrease.

guest stay in Dong Nai.

For domestic guests, the average length of stay is only about 1.12 days. This group of guests is quite diverse, but has little need to use accommodation as part of the tourism service product.

In the process of developing tourism in Dong Nai, it is necessary to consider implementing measures to extend the tourist days to increase revenue by focusing on promoting investment in infrastructure, equipment and service systems as well as constantly improving quality, creating unique and attractive tourism products.

Seasonality: Dong Nai's peak tourist season is in December, January, February and May, June, July every year. This is also the peak season for domestic tourism. Seasonal factors are often associated with events and holidays, both lunar and solar. For example, December, January, February, and March often have New Year's Day, Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day, and International Women's Day. April, May, and June have Southern Liberation Day, International Labor Day, International Children's Day, Buddha's Birthday, Doan Ngo Festival, and holidays.

Summer vacation for students. The combination of holidays and official holidays makes many classes of people have free time, so they pay more attention to entertainment, relaxation, and vacation.

However, there are measures to reduce the effects of seasonality such as:

- Regularly improve quality and innovate tourism products and services to create appeal, appeal, and uniqueness, and limit boredom.

- Combine many types of tourism to create diversity and richness.

- Increase promotional activities at tourist facilities

- Rotate different forms of tourism throughout the year such as promoting business tourism, festivals, major events, sports and MICE in low seasons and encourage more households and seasonal workers to participate in providing tourism services in high seasons.

2.2.3. Tourism revenue:

Observing the revenue structure in the years from 2001 to 2006, it can be seen that food and beverage revenue accounts for a significant proportion, twice the revenue of the two following sectors, accommodation and entertainment, in total tourism revenue.

This is a key sector over the years, contributing to growth in the service industry.

Revenue from accommodation establishments accounts for an average of 24% of total tourism revenue. Revenue from entertainment services is approximately equal to that from accommodation. The interdependent sectors of travel and transportation account for a low proportion. This shows that the contribution to the growth rate of the tourism industry is still quite low, mainly from accommodation and food and beverage businesses. However, it also shows that Dong Nai province has advantages in the above two activities. In the process of planning tourism development, it is necessary to continue to promote existing advantages and focus on further promoting entertainment services to attract tourists and accommodation guests.

From 2001 to 2006, the ratio between the average revenue growth rate (39.03%) and the average number of visitors growth rate (32.73%) was 1.19, showing that the spending level of tourists when traveling to Dong Nai is still very low. In the future, the province needs to promote the development of service activities, creating conditions for tourists to spend more to increase the growth rate of tourism revenue.

2.2.4. Accommodation and travel business activities:

According to 2006 statistics, Dong Nai province currently has 48 accommodation establishments with a total of 1,270 rooms and 1,398 beds, including 1 3-star hotel, 1 2-star hotel, 1 1-star hotel, and 6 standard hotels. In addition, there are a large number of hotels, motels, and inns that do not meet the standards of tourist accommodation establishments. Hotels with good facilities are mainly concentrated in Bien Hoa city. Accommodation establishments with poor facilities (motels, inns) are concentrated near industrial parks and scattered in districts in the province. This will cause difficulties in developing types of tourism with long stays in areas far from the city. The province needs to study and invest in more accommodation establishments.

Regarding tourism business activities, from 2001 to 2004, the province had only one tourism business unit, the Dong Nai Tourist Guide Operation Center under Dong Nai Tourism Joint Stock Company. By 2006, there were 7 tourism businesses operating in the province. In general, tourism business activities in Dong Nai are still limited in quantity and scale of exploitation.

2.2.5. Support services:

The number of food establishments meeting restaurant standards in 2002 was 19, an increase of 13 restaurants compared to 2000. The remaining 9,133 were small eateries and canteens, mainly serving the eating needs of the people in the province. Some restaurants at tourist destinations have taken advantage of the available natural resources to develop country dishes, rustic dishes... to attract tourists. In general, the scale of restaurants is still limited, and development is spontaneous.

, there is no general direction. Bien Hoa City is still the place with the most concentrated food establishments in the province.
