1.6 Ability to supply tourism demand.

The tourism supply chain is the system of movement of a product or service from supplier to customer, resulting in natural resources, raw materials and components being transformed into finished products.

The tourism supply chain includes both core and ancillary tourism products and services. The final product purchased in the tourism supply chain is generally the holiday.

Currently, the linkage in tourism development is still very slow, the parties are still focusing on personal interests without seeing the effectiveness brought by tourism. That leads to unhealthy competition such as arbitrary price increases and decreases, low service quality, greatly affecting the enjoyment value of tourists as well as the reputation of the tourism industry. On the other hand, the current intermediary role of the General Department of Tourism and associations is not much, lacking the linkage between destinations, creating highlights for regional tourism development. In particular, the role and impact of functional agencies, non-industry enterprises such as customs, telecommunications, insurance with the tourism industry are very important, but this linkage is still not strong enough to be a lever for development. These are important links in the value supply chain of the tourism industry. Although there have been many changes, currently airfares are still high, flight delays still occur, making customers dissatisfied; Railways, which are monopolies, need to consider investment, capital shares, upgrading service infrastructure, and diversification to include other means of transport...

1.7 Summary of chapter 1 .

Based on the concepts of tourism, business travelers, tourism needs and MICE tourism, we can find out the tastes of Taiwanese business travelers, giving a general overview of this special in-bout market. From there, we can make the most general assessments and analyses to know the strengths and weaknesses of Vietnamese tourism, the desires and tastes of Taiwanese business travelers when coming to Vietnam.

CHAPTER 2: Current situation of Taiwanese business travelers (MICE) to Vietnam

Male.

In recent years, business tourism (MICE) has been developing strongly and is a key market that Vietnam is aiming for. Although it was only "introduced" to Vietnam around 1990, MICE has shown that the potential of this type of tourism is very large. As a comprehensive tourism product of individual tourism products combined with certain organization and infrastructure, MICE is very suitable for the natural, social and human conditions, and the tourism environment of Vietnam.

In fact, MICE has been exploited by travel companies for many years. In 2011, the Vietnam MICE Tourism Club was launched in Ho Chi Minh City and called on businesses, hotels, tourism, and destination marketing units to participate in promoting this type of tourism. This club operates under the management of VinaMedia Joint Stock Company and the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam Airlines. In addition, we have a club: "Vietnam - Meetings - Incentive club". The club has published a book introducing Vietnam as a destination for MICE tourism with the title: "Vietnam - when meeting matters" and has organized international fairs such as AIME in Australia, IT & CMA in Thailand, IMEX in Germany, EITBM in Switzerland, etc.

According to statistics from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the number of MICE visitors at travel agencies also increases from 10% to 15% each year, the revenue from MICE is 5-6 times higher than the revenue from other types of tourism due to the specific nature and standard services that MICE requires (on average, each European MICE visitor spends 700-1,000 USD/day, Asian visitors over 400 USD/day). Of the total 10 million international visitors to Vietnam in 2016, it is estimated that up to 20% are MICE visitors. Vietnam is a "hot spot" for this type of tourism with two attractive cities: Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In particular, Vietnam successfully organized the 22nd SEA GAME (12,2003), the APEC Summit in 2007. These are important events marking the development of MICE tourism activities in Vietnam. During APEC 2007, all 3 to 5 star hotels in Hanoi were mobilized to welcome

guests, 125 hotels with 4,296 rooms were selected by the government and 110 hotels and other accommodation facilities were introduced to the delegation. In total, there are approximately 8,000 hotel rooms and accommodation facilities.

According to experts, Vietnam will be a competitor with Singapore in the MICE market in the future.

2.1 General conditions for Vietnam to become a suitable destination for Taiwanese business travelers.

In the Southeast Asian region, Vietnam is considered a country with a competitive advantage in attracting business visitors from Taiwan because Vietnam has the following advantages:

Tourism Resources.

- Majestic natural landscape, many world natural wonders, many newly built resorts, long coastline (3260km) with many beautiful beaches such as: My Khe (Da Nang), Bai Dai (Phu Quoc), Nha Trang Beach... With the potential for resort tourism, temperate climate, favorable natural landscape, many world natural wonders, along with increasing participation in international organizations, Vietnam is emerging as a venue for many important international conferences, seminars and events. In recent years, the number of international and domestic MICE visitors has increased rapidly. Compared to other countries in the region, it can be said that Vietnam has outstanding potential for Mice tourism development. A survey from Benthanh Tourist shows that MICE groups often choose Hanoi, Ha Long, Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Pha Thiet, Vung Tau and the Southwest. Except for the capital Hanoi, which is the economic, political and social center that focuses on international and national events, the localities chosen by MICE groups are resort cities and famous tourist destinations with good infrastructure, beautiful landscapes and fresh air.

- Vietnam is located in the center of Southeast Asia, an important traffic hub from the Pacific Ocean - Indian Ocean and Australia - Oceania.
