Archaeological relics of the Paleolithic era: Do Mountain, Con Moong cave, Trang village cave, Dieu stone roof; Neolithic era: Da But, Con Co Ngua, Go Trung, Hoa Loc; The Dong Son culture period with the archaeological sites of Dong Linh, Cam Giang, Dong Son, Che mountain... has attracted domestic and foreign researchers and tourists to visit and learn about the origin of human life from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age in Thanh Hoa province.

In recent years, the development of tourism culture has made the urban and rural areas of Thanh Hoa province more beautiful and clean, and improved people's lives. - Develop a program and master plan on maintaining, protecting and developing tourism resources associated with environmental protection, helping the local Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism have a basis to determine the key direction for sustainable tourism.

- It is necessary to advise the Government to improve the effectiveness of state management of tourism resource exploitation, avoiding indiscriminate exploitation. At the same time, develop regulations on penalties for acts causing environmental pollution.

- Improve the cultural level of those working in the tourism industry, support training programs for all participants in tourism activities.


- Focus on promoting people's participation in planning and managing tourism resources, enhancing nature conservation with tourism development.

- In addition, the tourism industry needs to have a plan to preserve and restore historical and cultural relics in the region in conjunction with preserving and exploiting the beauty of natural landscapes, strengthening inter-sectoral and international cooperation to protect the environment in the tourism sector.

- Promote investment in a number of key projects in Ham Rong Cultural and Historical Tourism Area, Mat Son Mountain Tourism Area, build a number of new high-class hotels from 4 to 5 stars, build a cultural village of ethnic groups, Ham Rong Historical Victory Museum, walking street and a system of billboards to promote political events and landscapes of Thanh Hoa. - Tourism propaganda, promotion and advertising work needs to be strengthened; focus on training human resources for cultural tourism; develop and complete plans for tourism types associated with cultural development on both large and small scales, suitable to the needs and interests of each target group.

- The goal of Thanh tourism is to welcome 4.8 million visitors in 2015, including 100,000 international visitors. This goal is completely achievable, and the number of visitors can even be greater if managers and units have a professional, methodical and modern approach to tourism.

- Promote the implementation of the project to develop Thanh Hoa tourism into a key national tourist area.

- Advise the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee to issue policies suitable to the characteristics of each locality, encourage investment in tourism development in the province; coordinate with localities and sectors to develop a number of tourism development plans such as the planning for tourism development in Pu Luong, sea and island tourism, Ben En, Cua Dat, invest in completing infrastructure of a number of key tourist areas, especially the Tourist Area.

These types of services meet the needs of high-end tourists with high spending levels, bringing in much more revenue than the current tourism service methods.

- On the other hand, training and improving skills for tour guides, receptionists, room attendants, waiters, drivers, etc. need to be standardized and regularly fostered, aiming for polite, civilized, and hospitable service attitudes in a professional manner, well preparing conditions for international integration.

- Prepare well the conditions to host the National Tourism Year 2015 in Thanh Hoa.

2.4. For local people with tourism businesses.

- The functional sectors and localities with famous landscapes need to proactively promote and advertise tourism in the province, making the images of famous landscapes and historical and cultural relics remain in people's minds, urging them to visit and admire them once... If we can do so, we believe that the tourism industry - a chimney-less industry of the province will develop quickly, strongly and sustainably.

- Propaganda and education of the community to maintain clean ecological environment to increase the value of the environmental landscape. Strengthen security and social order in tourist areas to ensure a good social environment for tourists.

- The goal of "preserving and promoting national cultural values ​​and protecting the ecological environment" is always considered the top factor for sustainable tourism development.

GREEN LOTUS SUSTAINABLE TOURISM LABEL CRITERIA APPLIED TO TOURIST ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES IN VIETNAM


1. CONCEPT OF GREEN LOTUS SUSTAINABLE TOURISM LABEL

- The Green Lotus Sustainable Tourism Label (hereinafter referred to as the Green Lotus Label) is a label granted to tourist accommodation establishments (abbreviated as tourist accommodation establishments) that meet environmental protection and sustainable development standards. Tourist accommodation establishments granted the Green Lotus Label are those that have made efforts in protecting the environment, using resources and energy effectively, contributing to the protection of heritages, developing the local economy, culture, society and developing sustainable tourism.


- The Green Lotus label has 5 levels, from 1 Green Lotus to 5 Green Lotuses. The number of Green Lotuses recognizes the level of efforts in environmental protection and sustainable development of the tourism service, regardless of the type or class for which the tourism service has been recognized.

2. STRUCTURE

- The Green Lotus Label criteria set includes 81 criteria with a total of 154 points and 25 bonus points, divided into 3 levels:

+ Basic level: 30 criteria.

+ Encouragement level: 29 criteria

+ High level: 22 criteria

Grassroots criteria are necessary, easy to implement, and mainly for internal management purposes.

The incentive and high-level criteria are more demanding, more difficult criteria that require more investment to encourage CSLTDL to continuously innovate and strive to achieve at a higher level.

Bonus criteria with a total bonus of 25 points, applied to CSLTDL that have achieved Green Building certificate - LOTUS (15 points) or been granted ISO 14001 certificate certifying international standards on environmental management system (10 points).
