Feasibility of Management Measures for Teaching Experiential Natural Science Subjects in Secondary Schools in Hung Yen City, Hung Yen Province


Through the research results obtained in Table 3.2 we see that:

In general, the opinions of managers and teachers participating in the survey highly appreciated the necessity of measures to manage experiential learning activities in Natural Science according to the new general education program in secondary schools in Hung Yen city with the percentage of opinions choosing the level of "Necessary" and "Very necessary" being 100%. There were no opinions evaluating the measures proposed by the thesis at the level of "Average".

“Usually”, “Less necessary” or “Not necessary”. In addition, the mean scores of the measures corresponding to the five levels were also high (overall mean = 4.75 and ranged from 4.64 to 4.84.

Considering each specific measure, we can see that: Among the proposed measures, the measure "Organizing training on experiential teaching capacity for teachers of natural sciences" is assessed to have the highest level of necessity with an average score of 4.84. In second place is the measure "Directing innovation in methods and forms of organizing experiential teaching to meet the requirements of the new general education program" with an average score of 4.80. In fifth place is the measure "Enhancing facilities and equipment for experiential teaching of natural sciences" but also has an average score of 4.64.

The research results obtained in Table 3.3 show that:

The measures to manage the experience of natural science subjects in secondary schools in Hung Yen city were highly evaluated by the survey subjects in terms of feasibility with the average score of 4.53 and ranging from 4.35 to 4.74 corresponding to the five levels given. 100% of the survey participants affirmed that the proposed thesis measures were feasible, with no opinions rated at the levels of "Normal", "Less feasible" or "Not feasible".

Considering each specific measure, we can see that: Among the measures proposed by the thesis, the measure "Organizing training for experiential teaching capacity for teachers of Natural Sciences" is assessed to have the highest feasibility with an average score of 3.74 and the measure assessed to have the lowest feasibility among the proposed measures is the measure "Building and developing a positive experiential learning environment for students" with a score of 4.35 corresponding to five levels.

Thus, based on the obtained test results, we can confirm the correctness of the proposed measures for managing experiential learning activities in Natural Science according to the new general education program in secondary schools in Hung Yen city, Hung Yen province.

Chapter 3 Conclusion


Based on the theoretical and practical research results of the topic, and based on the orientations and principles of proposed measures, the thesis proposed 05 measures to manage experiential teaching of Natural Science subjects at secondary schools in Hung Yen city, Hung Yen province.

- Measure 1: Organize training to foster experiential teaching capacity for teachers of natural sciences.

- Measure 2: Directing innovation in methods and forms of organizing experiential teaching of natural science subjects to meet the requirements of the new general education program.

- Measure 3: Build and develop a positive experiential learning environment for students.

- Measure 4: Directing innovation in testing and evaluating the results of experiential teaching of Natural Science subjects.

- Measure 5: Strengthen facilities and equipment serving experiential teaching activities of Natural Science subjects.

The experimental results obtained showed that the measures to manage experiential teaching activities of Natural Science subjects in secondary schools in Hung Yen city proposed by the thesis are both necessary and feasible.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS


1. Conclusion

1. Managing experiential teaching of Natural Science subjects in secondary schools is a process of purposeful, organized, and planned impact of the management subject on the management object (elements of teaching activities...) through the application of management functions and means to ensure that teaching activities of the subject take place in the right direction, successfully implementing teaching goals and tasks to meet the requirements of the new general education program that has been set out.

Managing experiential teaching activities of natural science subjects in secondary schools includes: Planning training, organizing, directing, checking and evaluating experiential teaching of natural science subjects in secondary schools.

There are many objective and subjective factors affecting the management of natural science teaching experience in secondary schools. Each factor has a certain impact on the management of natural science teaching experience. Therefore, before organizing the management of natural science teaching experience in secondary schools, managers need to fully identify the influencing factors, as well as correctly assess the level of influence of each factor on natural science teaching experience and management of natural science teaching experience in secondary schools.

2. Through the study of the current situation of natural science teaching in secondary schools in Hung Yen city, we found that the majority of managers, teachers and students have a correct understanding of the necessity of natural science teaching; the implementation of methods and forms of organizing experiential teaching of natural science are all evaluated at a good level by managers and teachers. However, the implementation of content is not good; most of the research criteria are evaluated at an average level by the subjects.

The management of natural science teaching has gone into depth; the development of a plan for natural science teaching management has been carried out at a fairly good level. However, the organization of activities and direction of implementation are still weak; the management, inspection and evaluation work is not good.

There are many factors affecting the management of natural science teaching experience in secondary schools in Hung Yen city. The level of influence is different. Among them, factors such as the capacity of teachers to organize natural science teaching experience have the greatest influence.

3. Based on the results of theoretical research and the current status of the topic, and based on the orientations and principles of proposed measures, the thesis has proposed 05 measures to manage natural science teaching in secondary schools in Hung Yen city, Hung Yen province, including:

- Measure 1: Organize training to foster experiential teaching capacity for teachers of natural sciences.

- Measure 2: Directing innovation in methods and forms of organizing experiential teaching of natural science subjects to meet the requirements of the new general education program.

- Measure 3: Build and develop a positive experiential learning environment for students.

- Measure 4: Directing innovation in testing and evaluating the results of experiential teaching of Natural Science subjects.

- Measure 5: Strengthen facilities and equipment serving experiential teaching activities of Natural Science subjects.

To prove the necessity and feasibility of the measures, the author of the thesis conducted a survey through the opinions of managers of the Department of Education and Training, managers and teachers of secondary schools in Hung Yen city. The survey results showed that the measures to manage natural science teaching in secondary schools in Hung Yen city that the thesis proposed were all assessed by the subjects as being necessary and feasible at a high level.

2. Recommendations

2.1.With the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen city

- It is recommended to pay attention to the needs and aspirations for training to improve the quality, working capacity, and teaching capacity based on the Professional Standards for Secondary School Teachers and the new general education program to develop plans, select content, and training forms suitable for teachers.

- Have a plan to direct and implement training activities for teachers of natural sciences according to the new general education program, focusing on training experiential teaching capacity for secondary school teachers to meet the requirements of innovation on a regular and continuous basis.

- Assign school clusters and inter-schools and support school clusters in developing plans to foster experiential teaching capacity in general and experiential teaching of natural sciences in particular for teachers to meet the requirements of educational innovation.

- Create conditions for sending teachers for concentrated training to increasingly meet the standards of the Teacher Professional Standards, meeting the requirements of educational innovation.

2.2. With the Board of Directors of secondary schools in Hung Yen city

- Continue to flexibly apply measures to foster teaching capacity for natural science teachers of the new general education program based on the actual situation of each facility.

- Survey, evaluate and grasp the need to foster experiential teaching capacity of teachers in general and Natural Science subjects in particular to meet the requirements of innovation to advise and select forms and contents, develop appropriate and highly effective teacher capacity training management plans.

- Organize propaganda and mobilize all available resources in the school to support the work of fostering experiential teaching capacity for teachers according to the new general education program.

- Organize to raise awareness among teachers about the need and necessity of fostering experiential teaching capacity and other teaching capacities for teachers to meet the requirements of innovation in the current situation to contribute to building a learning society and lifelong learning.

- Do a good job of advising and coordinating with agencies, departments and branches to effectively implement measures to strengthen material resources to ensure experiential teaching and learning according to the new general education program.
