It is clear that overcoming negativity in society and in others is difficult, but overcoming one's own negative phenomena is much more difficult.

Nowadays, in the context of globalization, whether we like it or not, countries have to open up and integrate with the modern world. Besides the positive aspects, the negative impacts of this trend on people and social values are not small. Comprehensive integration in all areas of social life is the cause and condition for the emergence and promotion of the process of impact, penetration, supplementation, and even conflict between value systems and ethical standards, traditional and modern, national and international. In particular, the possibility of influence, impact, and even imposition and dominance of values and lifestyles of some countries and ethnic groups on other countries and ethnic groups is inevitable. The explosion of science and technology makes human intelligence develop unprecedentedly, but it also makes human thinking seem to become drier and more formulaic, and human moral emotions become more flat, cold, and bland.

On the other hand, along with the above situation is the introduction of foreign Western bourgeois views and doctrines on ethics and lifestyle, contrary to the good moral traditions of the nation, even anti-values, anti-culture, anti-morality, stimulating people's desire for pleasure, creating a concept of life that disregards morality and ethics, considering money as the ultimate power; compassion, self-sacrifice for the sake of righteousness, loyal and faithful lifestyles give way to selfish, instinctive, and base lifestyles... The rapid change of behavioral norms and social values leads to the situation where the elderly are increasingly unable to adapt to modernity. Meanwhile, the youth are inherently dynamic, sensitive to the new and strange, capable and enthusiastic about quickly absorbing new concepts and new and strange lifestyles, which easily creates conflicts between generations...

TRADITIONAL ETHICAL VALUES OF THE NATION IN BUILDING A NEW LIFESTYLE FOR VIETNAMESE STUDENTS IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION - REALITY

AND THE PROBLEMS RAISED

3.1. GLOBALIZATION AND ITS IMPACT ON THE PROMOTION OF TRADITIONAL MORAL VALUES IN BUILDING A NEW LIFESTYLE FOR TODAY'S STUDENTS

We are witnessing an era with profound changes in all areas of social life, not only within the scope of a country or a region, but on a global scale. New issues arising in the context of globalization are requiring the efforts of scientists, including social scientists and humanists. Because these global issues are related to the survival of all humanity on many levels. Globalization has brought about many positive achievements, but along with that, there have also been many serious consequences. Therefore, each country and nation must find for itself the right value orientation in the context of globalization in order to preserve and promote its traditional values, especially moral values. We must see the changes in traditional moral values in the context of globalization to come up with directional methods for harmonious development, not affected by negative values.

3.1.1. The essence of globalization

The concept of globalization first appeared in the British dictionary in 1961 and has been widely used since the late 1980s until now, and there have been many different opinions about this concept.

Most scholars consider globalization to be a trend or process that strongly increases the connections, impacts, and interdependence;

According to Nguyen Van Huyen: globalization is the process of transforming the individual elements of each nation into common elements that all nations accept. In essence, it is the process of gradually increasing the connections, influences, interactions and interdependence between all the products and individual achievements with specific characteristics of each social unit globally in the direction of getting closer and closer together, finding each other, forming the most common values - universal values that have meaning for all humanity.

From a philosophical perspective, we view globalization as an inevitable trend of human society; it has taken place throughout the development process and has reached its highest level today. Humans exist and develop first of all by and based on material production. Therefore, globalization originates from the strong development of productive forces, from the socialized nature of production. It is the development of productive forces that has changed the relations of production, that is, the relationship between people in the production process. In turn, when the relations of production change, it will lead to changes in the superstructure. Therefore, the old socio-economic form will be replaced by a new, higher, more progressive socio-economic form associated with a new, more advanced and modern mode of production. In the process of material production, when the productive forces develop, the relationship between people is increasingly expanded on a national and regional scale. Globalization is a new qualitative development of internationalization - a concept that existed before. If in the past, internationalization was dominated and promoted by the industrial revolution, now globalization is the scientific and technological revolution and it has strongly impacted other fields. In the process of globalization, each country and nation can only exist and develop when integrating into the world community, becoming a link in the chain of the world economy.

Thus, in essence, globalization today is becoming a process of gradually increasing the connections, connections, influences, interactions and even interdependence between each country and nation in the world in the direction of getting closer and more connected to each other. However, globalization also brings many challenges to developing and underdeveloped countries in all fields, especially in terms of lifestyle.

3.1.2.1. Positive impacts of globalization

Firstly, through trade liberalization, attracting investment, expanding export markets, stimulating the development of the market economy... Globalization has created opportunities for economic development as well as all aspects of social life of countries around the world: Asia's GDP increased by 5.8% in 1973, by 2011 it was 7.1%..., China has risen to become the country with the second largest economy in the world with a GDP in 2011 of 9.1%.

In our country, the globalization process is taking place very quickly and strongly, bringing great effects both in the economy and all aspects of social life. With the changes in economic life, cultural and spiritual life towards increasingly better, the people in general and Vietnamese students in particular will believe in the leadership of the Party, clearly see the correctness of the renovation policy as well as our current socialist orientation. That contributes significantly to the formation of a new generation of people with faith, ideals and ethics, a pure and healthy lifestyle, creating favorable conditions for the process of promoting traditional moral values in building a new lifestyle for students. That is the attitude towards the community, having civic consciousness, strictly abiding by the law, having the consciousness to strive to bring the country out of poverty and backwardness and build socialism. The majority of students have a healthy, civilized and polite lifestyle expressed in their behavioral relationships. Besides a positive, proactive, creative, and responsive lifestyle in learning and social activities, which is modern, it still retains the good traditional cultural and ethical features of the nation.

Second, globalization creates favorable conditions for building a new, modern lifestyle for students, both inheriting traditional national moral values and absorbing the quintessence of human culture.

Globalization facilitates the rapid dissemination and transfer of modern scientific and technological achievements on an increasingly large scale, thanks to which we can access and update ourselves with the enormous source of information and knowledge of humanity, helping to significantly improve the intellectual level of the people, thereby making Vietnamese people more flexible, dynamic, and sharper in thinking. This clearly has a positive impact on our thinking and lifestyle, especially students - the class of people who always have an immediate "effect" on the new.

Quickly and effectively accessing scientific and technological achievements, information, the spirit of studiousness is promoted, students are enthusiastic about studying and researching. And they become more dynamic, modern and quick-thinking, from which there is a positive change in their concepts and standards of living: from a somewhat closed, stereotyped, and clichéd lifestyle to an open, sensitive lifestyle, daring to confront and take responsibility.

The impact of globalization forms in students the proactive, creative, independent thinking and action. At the same time, this process also forms a number of new values such as the spirit of independent work, autonomy, decisiveness, daring to do and taking responsibility in work. "The highly competitive nature of the market economy emphasizes the qualities of flexibility and precision, thus requiring an increase in intelligence and intellectual qualities in all areas of life of each worker" [59, p.10]. This positive impact aims to eliminate the dependence and reliance that was formed during the subsidy period. This is the time when students have the opportunity to affirm their roles, responsibilities and personal interests, helping students develop a sense of self-reliance, autonomy, knowing how to enrich themselves legitimately, forming a positive and self-conscious attitude, and caring about the effectiveness of their work. Practice has trained them to think and live that way while still in university, that in today's era, when we care about personal interests, we must also care about the interests of the community and the whole society.

Also under the influence of globalization, students are required to constantly cultivate and strive for intelligence and knowledge to be able to meet the demands of society. Most students today, after sitting in the lecture hall to access knowledge, spend the remaining time using their intellectual capital in part-time jobs. Work is not only an opportunity to assert themselves, to earn more income, but more importantly, they accumulate a lot of life experience. And if they choose a job that is suitable for their major, it is also an opportunity for students to apply what they have learned in school to work, to practical activities, nurturing aspirations for the future.

The vast majority of students have the noble ideal of maintaining national independence and building socialism. That is shown in the process of students building for themselves a new ideal and lifestyle. Each student understands that, to live with an ideal, one must first respect and protect the independence of the Fatherland, because that is the achievement that the previous generation has exchanged with sweat and blood to have today. And to consolidate and protect the independence and freedom of the nation, there is only one right way, which is to bring the country to socialism.
