It can be seen that, with creative ways of doing things, over the years, the emulation movement of good teaching - good learning at Nam Son Secondary School has really gone into depth, suitable to the characteristics of each level of education, each school, creating a clear change in the quality and effectiveness of teaching and educational activities in schools. Currently, the city is quite effectively implementing teaching and learning integrating life skills into subjects and educational activities, teaching and learning according to the VNEN model, this is a good method to help improve the quality of students of the school in the orientation of the new general education program today.
2.2. Organize a survey of the current situation
2.2.1. Survey purpose
Evaluate the current situation of organizing experiential activities and managing experiential activities at Nam Son Secondary School, Bac Ninh City according to the new general education program, thereby proposing measures to manage experiential activities for students at Nam Son Secondary School.
2.2.2. Survey subjects
The topic has surveyed the current status of extracurricular activities of 35 management staff, teachers and employees (Principals, professional group leaders).

2.2.3. Survey content
- Current status of organizing extracurricular activities at Nam Son Secondary School, Bac Ninh city according to the new general education program;

- Factors affecting the management of extracurricular activities at Nam Son Secondary School, Bac Ninh City according to the new general education program.
2.2.4. Survey method
The topic uses the following method:
- Observation method: Using the senses of sight, hearing, recording, and photography to comment and evaluate the results of students' activities in school.
- Interview method: Direct interview with principal, teachers and students.
- Questionnaire survey method [Appendix 1]; field survey [Appendix 2]; Processing survey results using mathematical statistics to produce survey results.
- Method of researching activity records: Researching management decisions, written documents, activity plans, and summary reports on the management of extracurricular activities of Nam Son Secondary School, Bac Ninh City. Summarizing experiences and based on the results of monitoring extracurricular activities of classes on a monthly basis, and semester reports of myself in charge of extracurricular activities of Nam Son Secondary School, Bac Ninh City for 2 school years from 2017-2018; 2018-2019.
- Method of consulting experts: Ask for opinions from experienced experts to review and assess the scientific practicality and optimal solutions for the topic of managing extracurricular activities at secondary schools according to the new general education program.
*Content of survey/questionnaire:
Using a set of multiple-choice questions to survey the level of awareness and evaluate the current status of organizing and managing extracurricular activities according to the new general education program of managers (CBQL), homeroom teachers (GVCN), subject teachers (GVBM), parents and students at Nam Son Secondary School by developing 3 questionnaires and conducting them for the subjects;
Managers and homeroom teachers; Principal, vice principal, group leader, deputy group leader, union president, team leader, homeroom teachers and subject teachers.

* Steps to conduct a survey
The study was conducted twice at Nam Son Secondary School, Bac Ninh city.
- Step 1: The first preliminary survey was conducted on February 20, 2019 with about 30 students. The purpose is to increase the accuracy of the survey.
- Step 2: The second mass survey was conducted from March 11 to March 15, 2019 with the following number of survey groups: Total number of managers, staff, group leaders, homeroom teachers, subject teachers is 35 people; total number of students is 320 students of classes 6A, 6B; classes 7A, 7C, 8A, 8C, 9A, 9D of Nam Son Secondary School. The scale of survey subjects is as follows:

2.2.5. Data processing method
Use statistical software to calculate and check data when collecting information from managers, teachers, subject teachers, and students. Including assessment levels:
* For implementation level: Evaluated according to 5 levels: very often (5 points), Often (4 points); Normally (3 points), Not often (2 points); Very often (1 point).
* For implementation results: evaluated according to 5 levels: Very effective (5 points), Effective (4 points); Average (3 points), Ineffective (2 points), Very ineffective (1 point).
* The level of importance is assessed on a 5-point scale: very important (5 points), important (4 points), less important (3 points), not important (2 points), very unimportant (1 point).
To determine the scale, we calculate the scale score as follows:

The distance between the levels of the scale is: (5 - 1): 5 = 0.8 points. So the 5 levels of the scale are as follows:

2.3.1. Current status of awareness of HĐTN at Nam Son Secondary School, Bac Ninh city
In order to learn about the meaning and importance of the activities for the development of students at Nam Son Secondary School, the author conducted a survey of 35 managers and 320 students in all classes at the school and the results were as follows:

The survey results show that the average score of the assessment criteria on the awareness of managers and teachers of Nam Son Secondary School about the meaning and importance of extracurricular activities for the development of students' personality is 4.09 points, the component criteria are in the range of 3.91-4.29 points, all at an important level, showing the level of importance for secondary school students, the specific assessment criteria are as follows:
- The criterion "Activity activities help expand, consolidate and improve knowledge in subjects for students" achieved 4.29 points, ranked highest, at a very important level, with 17 opinions rated as "very important", 12 opinions rated as "important", 05 opinions rated as "normal" and 01 opinion rated as "not important", the teachers interviewed said that the activity activities provided students with knowledge and were consolidated more deeply.
- The criterion "Activities to create interest in learning for students " achieved 4.23 points, ranked second, assessed as very important, with 17 opinions assessing it as "very important", 12 opinions assessing it as "important", 03 opinions assessing it as "normal" and 03 opinions assessing it as "not important". When interviewing managers and teachers in depth, they all said that knowledge about the content of activities and the interweaving of forms of implementing activities made students curious, interested and looking forward to lessons on activities in school.
- The criterion "Activities are for students to have fun only" scored 4.20 points, with 15 opinions rated as "very important", 14 opinions rated as "important", 04 opinions rated as "normal" and 02 opinions rated as "not important". The managers interviewed said that activities bring students both the spirit of fun and entertainment, combining learning with practice.
- The criterion "Activities to discover students' talents" achieved 4.17 points, with 14 opinions rated as "very important", 15 opinions rated as "important", 4 opinions rated as "normal" and 2 opinions rated as "not important", 5% of opinions rated as "very unimportant", through observing secondary school students participating in club activities and games, it shows that they reveal their talents in dancing, singing, performing arts, sports, etc.
- The criterion "Activities to create solidarity with the collective" achieved 4.14 points, with 13 opinions rated as "very important", 16 opinions rated as "important", 4 opinions rated as "normal" and 2 opinions rated as "not important". When interviewing managers and teachers in depth, they said that students participating in groups, teams, and games or competition content should strengthen collective spirit, creating the ability to coordinate effective teamwork.
- The criterion "Activities to develop students' physical fitness" achieved 3.97 points, with 12 opinions rated as "very important", 14 opinions rated as "important", 5 opinions rated as "normal" and 4 opinions rated as "not important", with highly practical experiential activities, requiring students to participate in games and outdoor activities, thereby helping students develop physically.
- The criterion "Activities to educate students' ideology and feelings" achieved 3.94 points, with 12 opinions evaluating it as "very important", 13 opinions evaluating it as "important", 6 opinions evaluating it as "normal" and 4 opinions evaluating it as "not important". Managers and teachers said that through the educational program of activities on topics of love for homeland, country, and traditional culture, it has helped to instill ideology in the school's students.
- The criterion "Internship activities to improve knowledge and practice skills" achieved 3.91 points, 16 opinions rated as "very important", 6 opinions rated as "important", 7 opinions rated as "normal" and 6 opinions rated as "not important". The school has integrated vocational education programs into experiential activities, so it helps students have the opportunity to practice, such as visiting production and business establishments, participating in exploring and experiencing being a farmer, engineer, etc., helping them form understanding and skills to perform the job.
To have a more complete view of the importance of experiential activities, we conducted a survey with 320 students at Nam Son Secondary School, the results are as follows:
