- Research object: The research object of the thesis is poor households and issues related to poverty and poverty reduction in Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province.
- Methods used: Data collection method through questionnaire interviews, synthesis and processing of survey data, data analysis based on synthesis and through survey data.
- Main results and conclusions
Based on the study of theories on poverty, poverty reduction work and some poverty reduction experiences of some countries in the world as well as some localities in the country, along with the study of the poverty situation of households in the district. The topic has analyzed and explained the causes of poverty and the limitations in poverty reduction work in the district in the past time, solving the problems that the research objectives of the topic set out. On that basis, the topic has proposed a number of solutions suitable to the actual situation of Minh Hoa district to make poverty reduction work in the district most effective.
