2.3 Roles, Functions, Duties.

The Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace serves the city's political tasks, organizes cultural and sports activities, establishes hobby clubs to attract a large number of people to participate, participate in activities, have fun and entertain, thereby performing the function of education, orientation, contributing to health care, cultural and spiritual life of cadres, workers and people of Hai Phong city.

- In addition, the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace also performs its functions and tasks such as serving international, national, and city political activities. Serving hundreds of conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and fairs of all sectors and levels with a spirit of enthusiastic and thoughtful service.

- Every year, the Cultural Palace also organizes hundreds of cultural and sports activities to celebrate major holidays and important historical events.

- The basic strength of the Viet Tiep Friendship Labor Cultural Palace is to organize and build a system with more than 30 clubs in the fields of culture, arts, sports, social culture and profession, attracting more than 1,000 members to participate in regular activities. The cultural clubs have a regular schedule, planning for each month, quarter and year with many rich and diverse activities.

- In addition to establishing clubs to attract more members, the Cultural Palace also focuses on discovering, training and fostering high-achieving cadres during their work and training.

- The Vietnam-Czech Republic Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, with its functions and tasks, operates more and more effectively and the number of people coming to participate in its activities is increasing.

- Every year, the Cultural Palace also coordinates with Hai Phong Radio and Television to organize many poetry and music exchange programs, TV game shows, reports introducing club activities, good people and good deeds, educational programs such as teaching singing and dancing, teaching fine arts, teaching physical education, etc.

The Vietnam-Czech Friendship Labor Cultural Palace cooperates with central and local agencies to organize many major cultural and foreign exchange activities such as: Czech Cultural Days in Vietnam, Czech-Belgian concerts, cultural exchange activities with the Guangdong-China trade union, friendly football matches with Korean and Guangxi teams, embassies of Russia and France, etc.

Coordinate with grassroots units such as: Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Culture and Sports of Vinh Bao district, Hang Kenh wool carpet factory... to organize many poetry and music programs on the occasion of the unit's traditional days.

Coordinate with radio and television stations to organize many large poetry, music, exchange and art performance programs such as: Vietnam Poetry Day, March Grace, Cloud Hair Dance, Seagame Rhythm, Port Star, Elderly Exchange, etc.
