The thesis also assessed the credit quality of joint stock commercial banks for small and medium enterprises in the city. From the analysis and assessment of the credit relationship between joint stock commercial banks and small and medium enterprises, the thesis has systematized the factors affecting the credit relationship between small and medium enterprises and joint stock commercial banks and drawn the results achieved, the limitations and the causes of those limitations to serve as a basis for proposing appropriate solutions.

Fifth, systematize the credit development orientations of commercial banks for small and medium enterprises. Contribute to providing solutions and recommendations:

 For joint stock commercial banks: It is possible to apply practical solutions to expand credit relations with SMEs, especially considering developing unsecured lending for private enterprises, single-member LLCs and micro-enterprises.

 For small and medium enterprises: Increase access to credit capital from commercial banks in Ho Chi Minh City.

The author also hopes that the Thesis will contribute a small part in expanding and improving the credit quality of joint stock commercial banks for small and medium enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City today.
