4.2.2. Improve the quality of tourism management team

Although the management of tourism activities at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam relic site is determined to belong to all levels, the direct authority is still the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam under the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports. State agencies play the role of orientation, inspection and supervision. Currently, the management apparatus of the Center is quite stable and works effectively. However, the following measures are needed to improve the quality of the tourism management team.

Tour guide activities need to complete the following contents:

- Supplementing regulations on visiting relics for visitors who can go alone or in groups, regulations on registration before the group arrives. Regulations on group size, mandatory language used for on-site explanation.

- The information provided by the tour guide is complete and accurate: Unify the content of the explanation, focus on the typical values ​​of the heritage, images of artifacts, and objects of visit expressing and containing the values ​​of the heritage.


- Unify tour guiding methods, stories, and situations so that the Guide/Expositor can guide the tour in an attractive way. Enhance the content of PTBV education, combined with entertainment activities for visitors in the program.

- Tour guides/ interpreters unify and strengthen the connection between exhibits and visitors of VMQTG.

- Ensure that the language level of the Guide/Tourist is sufficient to express and describe the visitors: inform visitors in advance on publications, increase supporting media such as screens, introduction signs, etc. It is necessary to add enough Guides at the point in terms of quantity and language level.

- The explanation time should still be 45 minutes, with a group size of less than 50 guests, the explanation fee should be considered for an increase. This will both increase sales, create revenue for the Center, and help visitors satisfy their need to look and shop. 4.2.4.2. Building a social environment that ensures security and safety

To build and maintain, ensure security and safety at the relic, it is necessary to continue to promote the responsibility of authorities at all levels, the initiative, close and regular coordination of the sectors. The Center can coordinate with the police force in the area, especially when organizing major events, to develop plans, options and prepare the necessary conditions to serve the work of ensuring security and order at the destination, organize drills, and practice handling situations in the field.

Synchronously implement measures to mobilize residents around the relic site to participate in ensuring security and order to build a cultural tourism environment.

Proactively deploy measures, organize work, grasp and forecast the situation at relics as well as for the activities of organizations and individuals doing tourism business. Focus on managing entry and exit, managing residence for foreign tourists, preventing and combating activities of foreigners related to national security. The connection, information exchange, coordination and supervision between management agencies, the connection between tourism and sectors, fields between regions and localities are important in the management and supervision of tourists. Proactively and effectively combat criminal activities, especially theft, robbery, public order and safety, environmental and cultural issues in tourist areas, ensuring security, especially during the festival season.

4.2.5 Strengthen inspection and supervision of tourism activities at relics
