Question: Could you please tell us some of your current personal and family information?

Answer: I am Tran Thanh L, 48 years old. I live in Thuan Thanh Ward. My family has 4 people, 2 children are in school. I work as a tourist bus driver. My wife sells at home. The family just makes ends meet.

Question: Do you know about your city's Festival? Do you know the purpose of organizing the annual Festival?

Answer: Yes, Hue Festival is held every two years. When it is near, you will see people bustling about hanging lights and decorations. And everyone will know about the billboards hanging all over the streets. As for the organization, it is to perform arts by the

domestic and foreign art troupes, to increase the number of tourists coming

Hue then developed the provincial economy.

What show, just the ticket price. I heard people say so I went just to know. I often go to culinary, art performances, and then go to the Imperial City once. Going to the Imperial City once is enough, there's nothing to see more, going too much is tiring and my job during that time is very busy, I don't have time to go.

Question: How do you evaluate the activities organized in the Festival?

Answer: The first few episodes were very good, but after watching them so many times, I found them boring, and there was nothing new or interesting anymore. The prices are a bit expensive these days. Ticket prices are constantly increasing. My family only bought tickets to go to the Imperial City, but we always chose free performances on the streets and in parks, and then went to fairs. In general, there are many shows, but I'm afraid I don't have the money to go.

Question: Do you like any art troupe in Hue Festival? If so, which troupe and why?

Answer: I think all the troupes perform well, but I don't really care, so I don't like to stick with any troupe.

Question: So, each time the Festival takes place, how does it affect your family? Answer: My family lives near the Imperial City, every time there is a Hue Festival, the atmosphere is much more bustling, less sad than usual. There is also a place to take the whole family out. My wife sells souvenirs for tourists, traditional ao dai fabrics, so the Hue Festival is an opportunity for her to do better business. The number of customers increases 4, 5 times. But having to sell all day is also very hard. And at that time

also had to ask his younger brother who is a student at Nong Lam University to help sell and give him 100,000 VND every day as wages.

Question: So how hard did your family work during the Hue Festival? Who was involved in the business? And did that income improve much?

Answer: During those days, I often drove a bus to transport passengers, very busy. But at home, I had two more children and a child to help my wife sell goods. They were also busy studying, so sometimes I had to ask my grandchildren to help. But they had to know a little English to communicate, otherwise they had to be quick-witted, and they had to know just a few sentences to introduce the products to help. Every time there was a Hue Festival, the profit was up to several million a day. Quite a bit. But it was only bustling for three weeks when there was a Hue Festival. I took advantage of it to sell more, but it didn't help much.

Question: What are the negative impacts of Hue Festival on your family's daily life?

Answer: Nothing special, there are more vehicles, a little more noise, that's all. Everything else is normal. The difficulty for a bus driver is that the police are strict. Normally, I drive in the city, picking up and dropping off passengers more comfortably. Now that there is the Hue Festival, it's not as easy as that, driving is very difficult. Question: How do you evaluate the attitude of tourists as well as our people towards this festival?

Answer: Everyone is eagerly waiting for this festival because it is a characteristic of Hue, the pride of our people. The same goes for tourists, most of them are interested in our Eastern culture. They are quite satisfied, the people are also very happy to have Hue Festival.
