CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1.1. Conclusion on theoretical research results
Managing educational activities in preschools is a system of intentional, planned, and lawful impacts of the management entity on the collective of teachers, staff, students, parents, and social forces inside and outside the preschool to achieve quality and effective educational goals. The content of managing educational activities in public preschools includes: Planning educational activities; Managing children's educational goals; Managing the implementation of educational plan content; Managing teachers' classroom activities; Managing facilities supporting educational activities.
The thesis also identified factors affecting the management of educational activities in preschools. Objective factors: regimes and policies for preschool education; Attention from Party committees and authorities at all levels; Facilities and equipment for teaching and learning. Subjective factors: Awareness; Management skills; Professional qualifications.
1.2. Conclusion on practical research results
Assessing the current status of educational activities in public kindergartens in Soc Trang city and the current status of educational management in public kindergartens in Soc Trang city. The research results show that:
The current status of educational management in public preschools was assessed by the research subjects to have been implemented at a "Good" level. In particular, some management contents were assessed to have been implemented at a "Good" level higher than other management contents, such as: Management of educational content for children in public preschools in Soc Trang city; Management of classroom activities of teachers in public preschools in Soc Trang city; Management of professional training for teachers in public preschools in Soc Trang city; Management of facilities supporting educational activities of
public kindergartens in Soc Trang city. In addition, there is a management content "Educational planning in public kindergartens in Soc Trang city" although it is also evaluated by the majority of research subjects as being well implemented, however, this content has the lowest average score among all management contents that the topic conducts a survey. The thesis also analyzes the current status of factors affecting the management of educational activities in public kindergartens in Soc Trang city. The results show that there are many factors affecting the management of this activity, however, there are some factors that have more influence than others, such as: School facilities; Teachers' capacity and awareness; Principal's management capacity and ability.
Based on the results of theoretical and practical research on the management of preschool education activities in public preschools in Soc Trang city. The author of the thesis proposes 6 measures to improve the effectiveness of managing these activities, which are: Innovating the work of developing educational plans; Guiding teachers to determine educational goals; Strengthening the management of teachers' classroom activities; Innovating the work of fostering educational activities for teachers; Exploiting and effectively using facilities to support educational activities; Strengthening the work of monitoring, inspecting and evaluating educational activities.
The results show that 6 measures are necessary and highly feasible, suitable for the situation and characteristics of preschool education development in the locality.
2. Recommendations
2.1. For the Department of Education and Training of Soc Trang Province
Advise the provincial People's Committee to increase tuition fees and ensure policies for preschool teachers. Organize professional training courses for managers and teachers and continue to improve the effectiveness of professional training for teachers.
2.2. For the Department of Education and Training of Soc Trang city
- Send management staff for training and development in management skills and political theory. Regularly organize exchanges and share experiences in management work; Competition for excellent management staff.
- Advise the City People's Committee to continue to pay attention to investing in the construction, renovation and repair of schools and classrooms to ensure the necessary requirements for organizing child care and education activities.
2.3. For kindergartens
- Actively study and self-train to improve preschool management skills. Strengthen education and raise awareness for teachers and staff about the requirements of innovation in preschool education; about knowledge and practical skills in child care and education.
- Ensure good conditions of facilities to serve children's educational activities, to serve the improvement and innovation of teaching methods. Do a good job of advising the industry and local Party committees and authorities.
