According to the survey of tourists on the assessment of the current status of tourism product factors at normal and poor levels, the friendliness of the people is the only factor that is rated as good.
The locality and safety level are good, these are the advantages of Phu Quoc tourism that need to be promoted. For product factors such as: the qualifications and professionalism of staff are still very limited (2.22), entertainment services are assessed as very low (2.01), the reality in Phu Quoc is very poor, there are tourist areas that do not have entertainment services other than sightseeing and shopping, environmental protection awareness is very poor (2.01 - 2.15). This is an issue that managers and businesses exploiting Phu Quoc tourism must pay special attention to and handle promptly.

Also through the survey, tourists rate tourism products as poor, monotonous, of poor quality, and not diverse. As
Therefore, diversifying tourism products and improving product quality is extremely necessary for Phu Quoc tourism managers.

Through the table above, we see that factors such as: forest resources, safety level, friendliness of local people have quite small differences (0.07 - 0.17). These factors show that they have met the expectations of tourists quite well. This is an advantage of Phu Quoc tourism. Besides, some factors such as: attitude, professionalism of tourist staff, entertainment areas, prices... have relatively large differences (1.97 - 1.79). Thus, Phu Quoc tourism must have active measures to reduce this difference, only then can it create valuable tourism products to satisfy tourists.

In the table we see that fishing tourism and local specialties need to be maintained and promoted because these are advantageous products. However, eco-tourism, conference and seminar tourism need to be invested more to attract tourists, especially international tourists.
Besides some products such as sightseeing tourism and resort tourism, the difference in evaluation is very high (1.47 - 1.46), this shows that Phu Quoc's main tourism products have not met the expectations of tourists.
2.4 GENERAL ASSESSMENT OF PHU QUOC TOURISM.
2.4.1 Achievements.
Since the policy for Phu Quoc to develop into a regional and international eco-tourism center, Phu Quoc tourism has increasingly developed and achieved some specific results such as:
- The number of visitors, income and tourism GDP increase annually, contributing to increasing the proportion of services in the total income of Phu Quoc district and Kien Giang province, making tourism a key economic sector, contributing to transforming the economic structure of Phu Quoc in particular and Kien Giang in general, creating many jobs, improving the material and spiritual life of the people, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction.
- Has attracted many domestic and foreign investors to register for investment, there are projects of foreign investors applying for investment on a large scale.
- The tourism market is increasingly expanding, tourism products are gradually diversifying and quality is improved.
- The system of technical infrastructure for tourism is being gradually built synchronously, creating conditions to promote growth in tourism development indicators and contributing to creating a new look for the province.
- The system of tourism development policies and mechanisms has been formed and increasingly improved, creating a favorable environment for tourism development management.
- The level of management and tourism expertise has been gradually improved, the tourism industry of Kien Giang province in general and Phu Quoc in particular is gradually affirming its important position and role in tourism in the Southwest region and the whole country.
2.4.2 Limitations.
Besides the achievements, Phu Quoc tourism still has many limitations:
(1) Marketing activities are still weak, tourism product quality is not high, tourism products are not diversified, and there is no attention paid to tourism promotion and advertising.
(2) Lack of capital, low tourism revenue, investment in tourism development in the fields of construction of technical facilities, tourism infrastructure, conservation and restoration of tourism resources are still limited.
(3) Lack of attention to protecting tourism resources. The current exploitation of tourism in tourist areas does not pay much attention to environmental protection.
(4) Not paying attention to human resource development and training.
(5) The state management mechanism is clear. The system of policy mechanisms and legal documents on investment, construction, land and tourism has not been built synchronously.

From that we can draw the following conclusions:
2.5.1 In Bali – Indonesia :
The Bali government knows how to combine the long-standing historical and cultural traditions with thousands of temples and natural advantages such as volcanoes, primeval forests, and beautiful beaches to create a tourism industry with its own unique characteristics of Bali - Indonesia. The government also has preferential policies for Bali such as building an international airport, preserving local culture, and developing natural landscapes. In addition, the friendliness and hospitality of the Balinese people and reasonable prices also play an important role in the Bali tourism industry. The result of that harmonious combination has won the hearts of tourists from the East and the West. Bali has been voted the world's leading tourist destination, surpassing both Hawaii - USA and Santorini - Greece.
However, another equally important issue that directly affects the tourism industry in general and the Bali region in particular is the issue of social security. Although Bali has more than 90% of its residents following Hinduism, Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim population in the world. The conflict between Muslims and the West has made Bali a hot spot for one of these conflicts. Two terrorist attacks in Bali (2002 and 2005) killed many Balinese people and tourists. As a result, the number of tourists has decreased significantly for safety reasons, although the Bali government has many inviting policies, but safety of life is still paramount.
2.5.2 In Phuket – Thailand :
The Thai government has realized the need to meet the needs of Asians who want to enjoy Western style and partly satisfy the homesickness of Westerners living abroad. In addition to the usual forms of vacation such as swimming, shopping and relaxation, Phuket also organizes Western sports such as surfing, diving and bars, nightclubs, casinos and other forms of sex. This is also associated with the formation of Mafia gangs in society. In addition, the general social situation in Thailand is also unstable, many violent protests occur continuously everywhere.
in the country. That is one of the key issues paralyzing the tourism industry of Phuket – Thailand.
Through the comparison table above, the author draws the following comments:
Although nature has also blessed Phu Quoc with many beautiful beaches, primeval forests and rich agricultural and seafood products. However, Phu Quoc needs to be enriched with facilities such as means of transportation, motels; diverse forms of entertainment such as festivals, night activities, diverse cuisine; hospitality and professional service style; affordable prices, so as to meet the needs of tourists while preserving national culture and developing the local economy.
Phu Quoc currently needs a systematic planning, a tight organization and a management that is always renewed on this island. In addition, minimizing the encroachment of socio-economic development activities on the natural environment of Phu Quoc; and social security is also a prerequisite to ensure Phu Quoc develops sustainably.
In short , Phu Quoc is one of the localities with tourism potential, favorable geographical location and diverse and attractive tourism types. In recent times, Phu Quoc has also achieved some remarkable achievements. However, Phu Quoc still has many limitations in terms of infrastructure as well as human resources that are not ready for long-term island development. Current tourism activities are still very monotonous, fragmented, and clustered. Many private investment groups and many tourism companies operate in different ways, not yet bringing their own unique characteristics, as well as being in harmony with the general characteristics of the locality,... At the same time, the state's policies are not really clear to help investors have a direction of operation and create a legal corridor to protect that investment. That has limited the development of Phu Quoc and increasingly depleted natural resources as well as the spirit of participation in tourism of the islanders.
