The five proposed measures were all assessed as necessary and highly feasible. From 50% to 70.83% of managers and teachers surveyed assessed the measures for managing and fostering integrated teaching skills as very feasible and from 12.5 to 37.5 considered them feasible. The highest score was the measure "Enhancing awareness of managers and teachers of secondary schools about the role, significance and importance of integrated teaching capacity training activities" (average score of 3.38) considered it very urgent while the measure "Improving the assessment of the results of integrated teaching capacity training activities for secondary school teachers" (average score of 3.5) was considered feasible. And there were still about 8.38% to 16.67% of opinions that the measures were less feasible due to the impact of both objective and subjective factors. Thus, most of the respondents believe that the 5 measures proposed by the topic are very feasible and can be applied in practice in organizing management activities to foster the capacity of DHTH for teachers of secondary schools in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province.
Chapter 3 Summary
After studying the theory and surveying the reality of managing the activities of fostering DTTH capacity, the topic proposed and built a system of measures to manage the activities of fostering DTTH capacity for secondary schools in Dinh Hoa district based on the principles of ensuring the objectives of education in general, the objectives of primary education in particular; ensuring practicality, feasibility and systematicity.
The topic has proposed 5 management measures:
Measure 1: Raise awareness of managers and teachers of secondary schools about the role, meaning and importance of activities to foster integrated teaching capacity.
Measure 2: Complete the work of developing a plan to foster DHTH capacity for teachers suitable to the actual conditions of secondary schools.
Measure 3: Improve the organization of integrated teaching capacity building activities towards activating learners, linking self-improvement with scientific research.
Measure 4: Mobilize resources to serve training activities and self-training of integrated teaching capacity for secondary school teachers.
Measure 5: Complete the assessment of the results of activities to foster integrated teaching capacity for secondary school teachers.
These measures have a close relationship, dialectical unity through the survey, are necessary and highly feasible. This is a very important advantage for schools to pay attention to promoting, applying into practice in managing, directing and organizing the implementation of management activities to foster DHTH capacity for teachers of secondary schools in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province.
CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Conclusion
Teaching and learning is a new trend in the innovation of the content of the Vietnamese general education program, which has set new requirements for the capacity of teachers - that is teaching and learning capacity. Teaching and learning capacity of teachers is demonstrated in the flexible organization of teaching content and is built on 7 criteria with the content and skills required of teachers in secondary schools. This is an important basis for developing training measures and measures to manage teaching and learning capacity training activities for teachers in secondary schools.
The current situation of teachers' teaching capacity, the current situation of training teachers' teaching capacity and the current situation of managing teaching capacity training activities for teachers in secondary schools in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province show that some necessary teaching capacity such as: The capacity to organize teaching hours; the capacity to use teaching facilities... of teachers have not reached the standard, not meeting the requirements of teaching. The management of training activities also has the biggest limitation, especially in organizing teaching capacity training activities for secondary school teachers. This situation directly affects the learning quality of students, affects the quality of education in secondary schools, so it is necessary to have management measures to overcome the situation.
The topic has proposed relatively complete measures to manage the training of teaching and learning capacity for teachers of secondary schools in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, ensuring scientific nature and strict procedures. The proposed management measures have ensured the purpose, comprehensiveness, practicality, feasibility, quality and efficiency and have a unified relationship. In which: Raising awareness of managers and teachers of secondary schools about the role, significance and importance of training activities for integrated teaching and learning capacity is identified as a premise for building and developing other measures and determining the needs and training content on that basis, building a plan to train teaching and learning capacity for teachers accordingly.
suitable to the actual conditions of secondary schools, suitable to the training program, diversifying training forms and innovating methods of training teaching capacity in the direction of activating learners, linking self-training with scientific research is the premise for improving the quality and effectiveness of education at secondary schools in Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province.
2. Recommendations
2.1. For the Department of Education and Training of Thai Nguyen province
- It is necessary to quickly have a strategy and plan for training and fostering core teachers for the Departments of Education and Training. Raise awareness among managers and teachers about the role and importance of fostering the capacity of teaching and fostering core teachers of the Departments of Education and Training.
- Organize seminars, exchange management experiences, organize professional training, foster teaching capacity and innovate teaching methods for key teachers of Departments of Education and Training.
- Continue to organize integrated thematic teaching competitions and excellent teacher competitions for secondary school level.
2.2. For the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Dinh Hoa district
- Increase budget investment for secondary schools to equip them with more modern equipment and materials to better serve educational innovation.
- There is a policy to support funding for teachers to study to improve their professional qualifications and skills.
- Invest budget for managers and teachers to visit advanced secondary school education models in the province.
2.3. For the Department of Education and Training of Dinh Hoa district
- Direct secondary schools to properly implement principles in managing and directing BDGV activities.
- Increase investment in building facilities, invest funds to provide new and modern teaching equipment for secondary schools.
- Innovate the management system by perfecting legal documents related to the activities of secondary schools.
- The District Department of Education and Training organizes a preliminary review and draws experience after each year of implementing the Integrated Theme Teaching Competition organized by the Department of Education and Training and the Ministry of Education and Training and uses the integrated teaching competencies in the excellent teacher competitions organized by the Department of Education and Training to make timely and appropriate adjustments.
- Increase training courses for teachers and managers during the summer.
- There should be more reasonable incentive policies to attract talented people to work in the district and teach at secondary schools in the district.
- Re-evaluate the current status of the management staff and teachers to have a plan to train and re-train the team to meet the capacity of integrated teaching in preparation for the implementation of the general education program.
2.4. For secondary schools in Dinh Hoa district
- Raise awareness of managers and teachers about the role and importance of training activities for teachers in secondary schools. Strengthen inspection and assessment of teachers' teaching quality to have accurate information about the quality of the teaching staff. Review and classify teachers according to teaching capacity to have timely and appropriate training plans.
- Organize well the topics of innovation in teaching methods, application of information technology and training of teaching skills. It is necessary to create conditions in terms of time, regime (hours for self-study, self-training...), and funding (in the form of scientific research, experience initiatives...) for teachers' self-training activities.
- Create all conditions for managers and teachers to study to upgrade their qualifications, annually improve their expertise, skills and develop teaching and learning capacity according to teachers' wishes and needs. Allocate appropriate funds to encourage and reward the work of developing teaching and learning capacity.
