Measures to Improve the Quality of Teaching Management Activities

Through the table above we see:

+ About urgency

In terms of the urgency of the measures, it can be seen that many managers and teachers think that they are not urgent, as evidenced by the fact that all five measures have assessments of their non-urgency. However, in general, there is not much time left to implement the new general education program, so all measures are generally considered to be very urgent and need to be implemented immediately.

Regarding measure 1: 87.72% rated it as very urgent, 3.51% rated it as not urgent. So, the general assessment is that it is very urgent and needs to be deployed and implemented immediately.

With measure 2: 73.68% rated it as very urgent, 8.77% rated it as not urgent. So, the overall assessment is very urgent.

With measure 3: 78.95% rated it as very urgent, 5.26% rated it as not urgent. So, the overall rating is very urgent.

With measure 4: 75.44% rated it as very urgent, 12.28% rated it as not urgent. So, the overall rating is very urgent.

With measure 2: 82.46% rated it as very urgent, 7.02% rated it as not urgent. So, the overall assessment is very urgent.

Through the table above we see:

+ About feasibility

Through the table above, we can see that most of the measures are assessed as highly feasible. However, measures 1, 3, 5 have a feasibility assessment rate of over 10%, which shows that managers and teachers also have many concerns when applying them to their units. In particular, measures

Method 3 was rated as unfeasible by 5.26%. Through discussions with a number of managers and teachers, it was said that:

Firstly: Classifying current student groups is unnecessary because students still basically consider Computer Science as a minor subject, so their learning is sometimes not focused, formal, and superficial.

Second: School facilities are not enough to meet the needs of all students (2-3 students share a computer). Therefore, classifying students is sometimes unnecessary.

So, it can be seen that although there are different opinions about the urgency and feasibility of the proposed measures. However, it can be seen that the proposed measures are both urgent and feasible. If applied in practice in high schools, it can improve the quality of teaching and learning of Information Technology and enhance the capacity and strengths of each student.

CONCLUSION OF CHAPTER 3

Based on the theories and survey results of the current situation at high schools in Yen Lap district, the author proposes four principles to develop implementation measures to improve the quality of teaching and learning Information Technology.

From the research on the current situation of teaching and learning of Informatics at high schools in Yen Lap district. The author has proposed solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning Informatics according to the orientation of the new general education program at these schools. The proposed measures focus on the management work of the schools, focusing on approaches to the new program and the ultimate goal is to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Within the scope of each school and each different situation, managers and teachers need to flexibly apply measures and proactively build programs and plans so that all applications and changes contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning at each school.

The proposed measures are closely related to each other and are highly appreciated by school managers and teachers. The solutions have been surveyed for their urgency and feasibility, with the majority of opinions stating that they can be implemented within the framework and conditions of each school.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

1. CONCLUSION

From the above research results, the thesis has obtained:

1.1. Regarding teaching and learning : Teaching and learning are two important, key and core tasks in every school. All tasks such as: innovation in management, innovation in teaching and learning methods, strengthening facilities... all serve the teaching and learning tasks in every school. Managers and teachers need to have full and deep awareness to meet the goals of educational innovation. The transition from the role of the teacher as the center to the student as the center has been and is requiring efforts from both students and teachers.

1.2. The subject of Information Technology in the new general education program has a particularly important role and position in the system of subjects of the new general education program. It will be a compulsory and official subject from grade 3 to grade 12, helping students develop the necessary skills for themselves and other subjects. From that, it can be seen that to achieve the goal of improving the quality of teaching and learning of Information Technology in the new general education program, it requires determination from all levels of government, to the team of managers and teachers of high schools.

1.3. Regarding management work when innovating the general education program : The top goal is to innovate teaching methods to meet the new general education program. Teachers are now the ones who guide students to acquire knowledge, and students must also be the ones who closely coordinate with teachers to proactively grasp knowledge in the future. Therefore, management work also needs to change to meet the teaching requirements of teachers, helping teachers to promote the capacity and strengths of each person. And students are proactive, creative, work more, and cooperate more with each other when participating in educational activities.

1.4. Regarding management work at 3 high schools in Yen Lap district : Management staff have recognized the importance of the content and measures to manage teaching activities to improve the quality of teaching in each school. The schools have specified the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Department of Education and Training on implementing the curriculum and teaching plans to suit the characteristics of the situation, facilities, and equipment in the school. The schools have used a team of teachers suitable for the training level, capacity, and background of each teacher. From there, teachers can promote their capacity and strengths. However, in each school, there are tasks that have not been focused on such as: checking teachers' self-improvement work, and preparing lessons before class is not regular and continuous.

1.5. Measures to improve the quality of teaching management

To improve the quality of school management in teaching activities, schools need to implement the following measures well:

- Raising awareness of managers and teachers about teaching and learning Information Technology in the new general education program.

- Strengthen innovation in teaching methods when teaching Information Technology according to the new curriculum orientation

- Provide professional training for teachers, promote self-training via the Internet according to the requirements of the new general education program.

- Invest in facilities and equipment for teaching and learning, focusing on management and use of computer rooms.

These measures are closely related to each other and to achieve the highest efficiency in management work, managers and teachers must be unanimous and determined while performing their tasks.
