Among them, there are Japanese investment projects in the survey phase in Lam Dong and Nha Trang with capital scale up to billions of USD. According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, in the total foreign investment capital in Vietnam in the first six months of this year, the capital in tourism and service projects accounted for nearly 38% (more than 2.2 billion USD of newly registered capital), a significant increase compared to the same period last year.

Accordingly, the top 10 travel companies include Ho Guom Diethelm Tourism Joint Venture Company, Vietnam Tourism Company in Hanoi, Saigontourist Travel Service Company, Apex Vietnam Tourism Joint Venture Company, Exotissimo Tourism Joint Venture Company, Ben Thanh Tourism Service Company, Tan Dinh Tourism Joint Stock Company (Fiditourist), Viet Tourism Company in Ho Chi Minh City, Hoa Binh Tourism Company and Vietnam Tourism Company in Da Nang. The 10 hotels include New World, Caravelle, Ben Thanh, Dong Khoi and De Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi Hotel, Melia and Sofitel Plaza in Hanoi, Huong Giang Hotel in Thua Thien Hue and Ana Mandara Nha Trang Hotel in Khanh Hoa Province.

This is the second time the Vietnam Tourism Association has awarded this title. Of which, 4 hotels: De Nhat, Ben Thanh, Sofitel Plaza Hanoi and Huong Giang have been awarded the title of Vietnam's leading hotel for 2 consecutive times.
