2.3. Current status of Physics teaching activities in high schools in Ba Be district, Bac Kan province towards enhancing practical skills
2.3.1. Current status of Physics teaching activities of teachers
Physics in high school provides students with general, basic, systematic knowledge of Physics. In order to teach Physics effectively, teachers need to pay attention to the stages of the Physics teaching process in order to form knowledge, skills, and attitudes for students according to the subject's objectives. A survey of the current status of Physics teaching in high schools in Ba Be district yielded the following results:
2.3.1.1. Teachers' lesson preparation and class preparation
To assess the current status of teachers' lesson preparation before class. The author conducted a survey of 33 managers and teachers with the following levels: Not implemented, weak, average, fair, good according to the survey form. The survey results obtained:

Average score of survey content: 3.95 points
Comment:
According to the survey results, the average score of teachers' preparation before class is 3.95, which is quite good. Most teachers are interested in preparing before class and perform relatively well in the preparation content.
Some of the contents that teachers prepared well include: Clearly defining teaching objectives (knowledge, skills, attitudes) (scored 4.15); Correctly implementing teaching content according to the program (scored 4.21); Preparing lessons in the direction of innovating teaching methods, promoting students' initiative and creativity, enhancing students' practical skills (scored 4.03).
However, there are also some contents that teachers have not implemented effectively such as: Preparing teaching techniques carefully for the lecture (scored 3.85); Preparing experimental equipment for the lecture (scored 3.82); Conducting experimental experiments in advance for the lecture (scored 3.76).
Thus, the content related to practical experiments was not really well implemented.

Average score of survey content: 3.86 points
Comment:
Through the survey results of managers, teachers and students, it can be seen that the teaching and organizing activities for students to acquire knowledge are at a fairly good level (scoring 3.86 points). Basically, teachers have implemented relatively well the content prepared before class to organize activities for students. Some content that teachers have implemented well: Implementing the process of a Physics teaching hour (stabilizing, checking old lessons, studying new lessons, applying, consolidating knowledge, assigning homework) (scoring 4.05 points); Selecting and using active teaching methods, suitable for Physics and suitable for students (scoring 4.01 points); Observing students' attitudes while performing learning tasks, assisting students appropriately during student activities (scoring 4.05 points); Assigning homework tasks specifically, suitable for students' abilities (scoring 4.02 points).
However, there are still some contents that Physics teachers have not performed really well: Conducting all demonstration experiments in Physics class (scoring 3.73 points); Creating opportunities for students to conduct experiments in class (including demonstration experiments) (scoring 3.71 points); Guiding and assisting students in conducting practical experiments (during practice hours) (scoring 3.72 points); Assigning students to actively research practical experiments, conduct experiments, measure results, process data, write reports (during practice hours) (scoring 3.72 points); Assigning students to make experimental equipment, machines... by themselves according to the Physics principles they have learned (scoring 3.63 points);
This shows that teachers' ability to exploit and use experimental equipment for Physics practice is still limited. Training students' Physics practice skills will encounter many difficulties.

Comment:
The average score of the survey contents is 4.01, showing that the innovation of teaching methods in high schools in Ba Be district, Bac Kan province has been deployed and implemented quite well. In particular, there has been a shift from one-way teaching methods to student-centered teaching: Shifting from a method that focuses on explanation to organizing activities for students to acquire knowledge (achieving 4.12 points); Using teaching methods in the spirit of promoting students' positivity, initiative, and creativity (achieving
