- Facilities are invested in quite synchronously, from department meeting rooms, library, multi-purpose hall, dining area, etc.
About classrooms: the school has enough classrooms, ensuring all classes have 1 shift/day (morning for main courses; afternoon for second session).
- Regarding student accommodation: The school has organized the repair of the dormitory for male students, and up to now, it has basically met the accommodation needs of the students.
The system of vegetable gardens, playgrounds, training grounds, and dormitories is built in a continuous manner to serve 100 staff, teachers, and 600 students for studying, playing, and increasing production.
- Regarding teaching equipment: The school has been invested and equipped since previous years.
However, it is not complete and many devices are old and damaged.
About the teaching staff
- Regarding professional qualifications: 82% of staff and teachers have university degrees, 12% have master's degrees. The school needs to have a plan to send staff and teachers to study to improve their qualifications to meet or exceed standards.
- Regarding management capacity: All members of the Board of Directors have good management capacity, are dynamic, creative, and always have the awareness to study to improve their professional qualifications and management capacity.
- Teaching quality of teachers and staff:
The quality of teaching is assessed to have improved substantially, however the results achieved are not high enough to match the investment of the school. The reason is due to the low quality of incoming students. The school promotes professional group activities, improves the quality of group activities, and promotes the role of professional groups in training and improving teachers' skills. Direct and manage closely.
Strictly implement the program, implement professional regulations and innovate teaching methods of teachers in the direction of promoting positivity, modernization with the requirement of gentleness, naturalness, interest, promoting initiative in students to teach them to be human, avoid showing coping forms in teaching. In addition, encourage teachers to use the Internet to look up information, apply it to teaching. Bring information technology application into teaching. Organize for teachers to participate in computer lesson design contest.
- School activities:
As a school unit belonging to the system of specialized schools with the task of training resources to train ethnic minority cadres to serve the task of protecting and developing the locality. After 25 years of establishment and development, the school has focused on and done well in nurturing, caring for, and educating students, creating a comprehensive educational environment so that they can focus on training, studying, participating in extracurricular activities, participating in social work, participating in experience programs, etc.
As a result of these continuous efforts, many individuals and groups of teachers and students were awarded certificates of merit by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ha Giang Provincial Trade Union and other departments, branches and organizations for their achievements in work, education, teaching, learning and training.

Research on the current status of experiential activity management at Bac Quang Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary and High School to propose measures to manage experiential activities for students, contributing to improving the comprehensive education quality for students at Bac Quang Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary and High School, Ha Giang.

- Current status of awareness about the role of experiential activities in ethnic boarding secondary and high schools in Bac Quang, Ha Giang.
- Current status of organizing experiential activities at Bac Quang Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, Ha Giang.
- Current status of managing experiential activities at Bac Quang Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, Ha Giang.
- Current status of factors affecting the management of experiential activities at Bac Quang Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, Ha Giang.
2.1.3. Survey subjects
- Survey of 04 comrades in the school's Board of Directors and 46 teachers and staff.
- Survey of 300 high school students of Bac Quang Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities.
2.1.4. Survey method
Observation method: direct observation to collect necessary information about the issues to be researched.
Written survey method: building survey forms to collect evaluation opinions from the subjects to be surveyed (Managers of Departments of Education and Training, Managers of high schools, ethnic minority boarding teachers at secondary and high schools in Bac Quang district, Ha Giang).
Interview method: interview lecturers, experts, educational managers and teachers on relevant practical issues.
Expert method: direct exchange or through interviews for experts to advise and give comments on content related to the research topic.

2.2.1. Current status of awareness about the role of experiential activities in ethnic boarding secondary and high schools in Bac Quang, Ha Giang
* Assess the level of awareness of managers and teachers about experiential activities at Bac Quang Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, Ha Giang.
To understand the perception of school managers and teachers about the role of experiential activities, we surveyed the opinions of managers and teachers in question 1.
(Appendix 1) on the importance of experiential activities, and obtained the following results: 26 managers (52%) were asked that experiential activities are important, while 24 managers and teachers (48%) said that experiential activities are as normal as other activities in the school and no one said that experiential activities are unimportant. This result shows that teachers and staff of schools have a relatively positive perception of the importance of experiential activities in schools and experiential activities have a certain position in the educational activities of the school.
To understand the meaning and role of experiential activities in general schools, we surveyed managers and teachers in question 3 (Appendix 1). The survey results are as follows:

The survey results of managers and teachers' perceptions of the meaning and role of experiential activities in general schools show that managers and teachers assess that experiential activities bring many benefits to students, reflected in the average score of the contents of 2.51 points. Of which, 3/6 effects are assessed to bring many benefits: " Helping students improve their communication and behavioral skills with friends, teachers, and others through experiential activities " (2.56 points); " Helping students develop their ability to work independently and think creatively in learning and life " (2.60 points); " Helping students discover and solve practical life problems that they do not have the opportunity to find in class" (2.52 points). We observed the forms of organizing campaign activities and found that students implemented them very effectively. Students are enthusiastic about participating in activities such as cleaning the environment around the school, observing humanitarian activities such as visiting families with preferential policies, children in difficult circumstances, etc., thereby helping students improve their communication skills and behavior with friends, teachers, and others . We observed English club and math club activities in schools. Teachers organized club activities in the form of both learning and playing, with teaching aids made by teachers themselves. Most students were very enthusiastic about participating, thereby helping students discover and solve practical life problems that they did not have the opportunity to find in class.
Interviewing HSN teacher, we were told by her, "In the 2017-2018 school year, Bac Quang Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minority Boarding Students organized an exchange with Tuyen Quang Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Boarding Students. Through that exchange, students' awareness was significantly improved, their attitude towards life was more positive, they were confident in their behavior and handling of relationships, their cooperation skills with teachers and friends were improved,...".
Thus, regarding the meaning and role of the activities in general schools, managers and teachers have recognized the contents such as Helping students develop their ability to work independently and think creatively in learning and life ; Helping students improve their communication and behavioral skills with friends, teachers, and others through experiential activities ; Helping students discover and solve practical life problems that they do not have the opportunity to find in class, which play a very important role and meaning for students. However, the contents such as Helping students grasp, expand and understand more deeply
knowledge learned in class ; Practice learning skills, work independently, train yourself to develop comprehensively ; Activities are an opportunity for entertainment. Managers and teachers evaluate at a lower level.

The survey results on students' perceptions of the effects of experiential activities show that: All contents are assessed to be very effective, showing that students also assess that experiential activities bring many effects (2.62 points). In which, the greatest effect that students assess is that experiential activities are an opportunity for entertainment with 2.87 points. In addition, experiential activities are an opportunity for students to grasp, expand and understand more deeply the knowledge learned in class (2.66 points); Help students discover and solve practical life problems that they do not have the opportunity to find in class (2.60 points), ... For students, they highly appreciate the role and meaning of contents such as: Experiential activities are an opportunity for entertainment ; Help students grasp, expand and understand more deeply the knowledge learned in class ; Help you improve your communication and behavioral skills with friends, teachers, and others through experiential activities ; Practice learning skills, work independently, and train yourself to develop comprehensively. Student NNA said: " We really like the activities. After each class, the experience is an opportunity for us to relieve stress and prepare our energy to absorb new knowledge ." Observing drawing competitions, writing competitions, research competitions, quiz competitions, crossword competitions, skit competitions, fashion competitions, elegant student competitions, etc., students are very interested and improve their communication and behavioral skills. Some other students shared: "I feel very happy and interesting here."

Contents such as Helping students develop the ability to work independently and think creatively in learning and life ; Helping students discover and solve practical life problems that are not possible to find in class are rated at a lower level. Talking with managers, we learned: "The lack of facilities, financial support sources, and equipment sources to support experiential activities is still difficult".
Students appreciate the effectiveness of the activities, the question is whether the organization of the activities really attracts students to participate or not? To find out about students' interest in participating in the forms of organizing activities, we surveyed students' opinions in question 3 (Appendix 3). The results are as follows:

The survey shows that most students of Bac Quang Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities like the outdoor activities, especially the field trip (the most favorite) with 81.7% of students saying that they like this activity because it is an opportunity for them to exchange and experience the knowledge they have learned through practical experience. Specifically, in the 2017-2018 school year, the school organized for students to visit the Trong Con revolutionary historical site in Bac Quang commune, Ha Giang provincial museum; In 2018, the school organized a tour for students to visit the historical site of Do Temple... However, when asked what knowledge they had gained after the tour, many students answered that they did not know many characteristics of that place such as: origin, formation process, regulations, outstanding features,... This may be partly due to the school's organization, which has not yet informed the students about the meaning of the trip with the purpose of both sightseeing and studying, so the students have not paid attention to taking notes and learning.
With the form of organizing activities by organizing games: 66.7% of the students said they were interested and liked to participate. With the form of organizing competitions such as folk games such as throwing balls, jumping sacks, hitting sticks..., up to 58% of the students said
