Solution 7: Apply special preferential treatment for athletes
Purpose : Contribute to stabilizing athletes' mindset to focus on training to improve performance and desire to progress, based on their own interests and not on external pressure.
Content :
The author advised the Department and the People's Committee of Hai Duong Province to approve the policy mechanism to attract talented athletes with many outstanding achievements in national and international competitions. Implement preferential treatment for coaches and athletes.
such as: athletes competing in sports at a high level (level 1, national master) receive salary, social insurance, health insurance and salary increase as prescribed for state officials; Cash bonuses for coaches and athletes competing to win medals at youth championships, national, regional, continental and world championships;
Prioritize recruitment and employment for athletes who have made many contributions to the sports career; Give houses to especially excellent athletes.
Implementing organization
Athletes at the center during training and competition are students at different levels of education who enjoy preferential treatment in cultural studies, are exempted from tuition fees and are granted scholarships, ensuring cultural studies for 100% of athletes of school age.
Enjoy wages, nutrition, energy pills and functional foods, rewards, medical care, attend vocational schools and get priority in solving problems.
Decide on a job (output) to stabilize life after completing the competition mission and no longer being an athlete.
Reward system: get rewarded on the spot for excellent performance.
Examining and selecting athletes to study at specialized universities and colleges of physical education, in many forms: such as cumulative study, concentrated study, on-the-job training...
Priority will be given to become civil servants, physical education teachers at high schools, and sports instructors in the athlete's hometown.
Get preferential loans to start a business from the Social Policy Bank when you are no longer an athlete and wish to change your life to another career.
Get preferential treatment in buying land or apartments when achieving excellent results at international tournaments such as Asiad, Seagames...
Be considered for salary and allowances according to the tour guide system when reaching the level: level I, national champion will receive salary increase according to state regulations.
Evaluation criteria:
Bonus for winning Gold, Silver, Bronze medals at national and international sports competitions
Achievements in national championships Number of athletes reaching the level
Number of athletes who are able to attend Sports University through cumulative or concentrated system Number of athletes who graduate from Sports University and are considered for recruitment as civil servants
