According to the above statistics, 85% of people think that the system is quite convenient to use and 55% of people rate the system's user-friendliness as acceptable.
Some comments from users when experiencing the search system:
- The database is not large enough so answering questions in different fields is limited.
- The interface is not eye-catching.
- Some more correct answers are not ranked higher.
Future improvements
Based on the results of my experiments and the user feedback I have gathered, here are some of the things I will be working on in the future to further improve the intelligent search engine on the wikiHow domain:
- Add data from other sources to make the database more complete. If there is no answer to the customer's query, it may redirect the user to an online search engine for further reference.
- Improved interface for better user experience.
- Improve the calculation logic of semantic similarity search algorithm by using some more word2vec sets.
