OUTLINE FOR DISCUSSING RESEARCH RESULTS

Research design

1. Introduction

Research has discovered 4 criteria to identify talent

- Ability to work well in assigned role

- Ability to handle change

- Ability to continuously learn

- Ability to come up with creative ideas to solve problems

In which the criterion of being able to give creative ideas to solve problems is a new criterion discovered in this study.

The research results show that all factors have a positive impact on talent retention at commercial banks, in which the commitment factor has the strongest impact on talent retention at commercial banks. In addition, the results show that there is no difference in gender, age, education level, bank ownership, bank size and working position of talents.

Qualitative research was conducted to confirm the findings of this study and to enhance the managerial implications of the study.

2. Research objectives

The objective of this qualitative study is to add more management considerations to the study to retain talent at commercial banks in Vietnam.

Qualitative research conducted one-on-one discussions with banking experts to consolidate and clarify a number of issues
