INTRODUCTION
1. Urgency of the topic
In recent years, Vietnam has made efforts to find development directions to raise the position of Vietnamese tourism on the world tourism map. Vietnam's tourism resources are diverse, rich, spread across the country... bringing our country enormous tourism advantages. However, the development of the industry is still not commensurate with its inherent potential. The duplication of service products and weaknesses in the ability to provide unique and distinctive tourism products have made the Vietnamese tourism industry unable to create an impression on international and domestic visitors.
Vietnam is a country with a long-standing agricultural production in the region and in the world. Vietnam's history is closely linked to rural areas and traditional agriculture. The orientation of the Party and State to shift the economic structure from agricultural production to industry and services still faces many difficulties in solving employment problems, increasing stable income for rural residents, creating sustainable development in the future. In addition, concerns about changes in the economic system structure in rural areas will break the inherent cultural traditions in villages, hamlets, and localities. Cultural values will be lost or degraded due to following social changes, which is also one of the important issues that authorities pay special attention to.
To solve the above difficulties, the Vietnamese tourism industry needs to find another direction. Find and exploit a new type of tourism, with its own unique characteristics from the vast rural and agricultural resources that Vietnam currently has. By dealing with the above situations, the Vietnamese tourism industry has been able to solve the current urgent problems, solve the problem of finding a separate direction for Vietnamese tourism, solve the problem of employment, and create new livelihoods for rural residents. Through tourism, it is possible to preserve the cultural features of traditional agricultural residents, and the human values that are still preserved and passed down in rural areas. Sustainable development is the development direction that helps Vietnam effectively transform its economic structure and achieve success.
