Average GRDP per capita increased from 467 USD/person in 2005 to 1,514.8 USD/person in 2010, equal to 67.3% of the average of the Southeast region (2,251 USD/person) and 1.3 times higher than the national average (1,168 USD/person). In 2012, GRDP per capita reached 43.2 million VND (2,067 USD) and in 2015 reached 59.5 million VND (2,800 USD).
Statistical results on Dong Nai's socio-economic development in recent years show that Dong Nai's gross domestic product (GRDP) has grown at a fairly rapid rate with the focus on infrastructure investment from the state budget as well as the rapid increase in development investment projects, especially in the tourism sector and some other related sectors. 16

The economic structure of Dong Nai province has shifted rapidly towards industry and services. The proportion of industries in the total product value in 2005 changed from agriculture to 22.2%; industry - construction to 52.2% and service to 25.6%. In 2011, the shift to agriculture was 8.6%; industry - construction to 57.2%; service to 34.2%. In 2015, the structure of industries in the province's economy was: industry and construction to 56.9%; service to 37.1% and agriculture, forestry and fishery to 6.0%. 17

The economic development situation maintained a high growth rate, the economic structure shifted in the right direction: Industry, services, agriculture. The service sectors contributed significantly to the total product in the province and created the premise for other sectors and fields to develop; exports increased sharply; budget revenue was quite good; development investment resources were better mobilized, the situation of scattered investment was overcome, investment was focused on key points, in the right direction, economic and social infrastructure was improved.

The community living in Dong Nai province is made up of 37 ethnic groups, of which the Kinh ethnic group accounts for 93%, the remaining 7% are ethnic minorities. The cultural identity is diverse with many religions, mainly Buddhism and Christianity.
As of April 1, 2015, the population of Dong Nai province is: 2,900,000 people (ranked 5th in the country, after Hanoi capital, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An), of which the urban population is 946.61 thousand people, accounting for 34.19%. The average population density is 468.69 people/km 2 , of which Bien Hoa city, Long Khanh town and Thong Nhat and Trang Bom districts are densely populated with a density of 644.69 - 3,357.62 people/km 2. Tan Phu, Vinh Cuu and Dinh Quan districts have a sparse population density of 128.27 - 216.2 people/km 2 . The population age pyramid of Dong Nai province is quite young, combined with the rapid development of industrial parks in the area, creating an attraction for mechanical population growth, causing the province's population to increase rapidly, with the average annual population growth rate in the period from 2010 - 2015 being 2.4%/year. 18
The socio-cultural field has positive changes, especially in hunger eradication and poverty reduction, job creation, and improving people's lives. Regarding national defense, security, social order and safety are ensured, maintaining political and social stability.

In 2015, the working-age population was 1,763 thousand people, accounting for approximately 61% of the total population. The labor force was 1,763 thousand people in 2015, an increase of 329 thousand people compared to 2010, an average growth rate of 5.2%/year. The labor structure as of December 31, 2015 included the proportion of laborers in the agricultural sector accounting for 30.7%; the proportion of laborers in the industrial - construction sector accounting for 39.3%; the proportion of laborers in the service sector accounting for 30%. In 2015, the proportion of trained laborers accounted for a fairly high proportion of 62%, of which the proportion of short-term vocational training was 40%. 19
The education and training sector has focused on investing in infrastructure and improving the quality of education. The province no longer has temporary classrooms, the rate of solid classrooms increased from 37.3% in 2005 to 67% in 2015. The rate of communes and wards with primary schools and kindergartens reached 100%, and the rate of secondary schools reached 95%.
The system of professional education facilities has 06 universities: Lac Hong University, Dong Nai University, Nguyen Hue University, Dong Nai University of Engineering and Technology, Forestry University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry Branch; 04 colleges and 06 vocational secondary schools. Professional education is increasingly expanding, gradually meeting the training needs of human resources in the tourism industry in the province. 20
Health system:
In 2015, the network of medical facilities developed strongly, the number of public medical facilities was 240, including 9 general and specialized hospitals at the regional level, 8 general hospitals at the district level, 9 general clinics at the regional level, 10 specialized centers at the provincial level, 11 medical centers, 11 health offices, 11 population - family planning centers at the district level and 171 commune, ward and town health stations. In addition, the province also has nearly 3,000 clinics, private medical and pharmaceutical practices in urban and rural areas.

SUMMARY OF CHAPTER I.
Dong Nai River is a beautiful river with a large flow with a main river system of 610 km, the section flowing through Dong Nai is 220 km long (up to the confluence of Long Tau - Nha Be River). The river basin is 42,600 km 2 wide , with more than 253 large and small rivers and streams as tributaries. This is the second largest river in the South, originating from Lam Vien plateau to Xoai Rap estuary. In general, in terms of basin morphology, Dong Nai River is a large river, the basin is almost entirely located in our country, the river has abundant water resources and great potential for hydropower.
Dong Nai River is a river with abundant water resources and beautiful scenery, originating from Lam Vien Plateau (Lam Dong) flowing through Bien Hoa City. It has created many beautiful landscapes, with many attractive tourist destinations, with endless green rice fields and lush fruit gardens, full of fruits with many local specialties of the tropics, such as: rambutan, durian, grapefruit, mango, guava, mangosteen, strawberry, jackfruit, etc. It can be said that, since ancient times, along this historic river, bustling old quarters have been formed such as: Pho Islet, Ben Go ancient village, traditional craft villages such as: Tan Van pottery village, Hoa An and associated with this historic river are the Tan Mai and La Nga raft fishing villages, along with the accommodation areas on the river, creating a unique cultural feature, with bustling life and trade on the wharf and under the boat. Located in the center of Bien Hoa City, 10km from the center of the city. Ho Chi Minh City about 30 km, surrounded by Dong Nai River, is a bright spot for construction, ecological and cultural tours. With a charming, peaceful, quiet landscape, but full of vitality. Associated with the unique features of the city center by the river, this place also has many historical relics and traditional festivals.
With the available advantages and potentials, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province - Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province has coordinated with a number of departments and branches to plan the Dong Nai river tourism route as one of the five main routes in the tourism development plan of Dong Nai province until 2020 and orientation to 2030. In recent years, the Dong Nai provincial government has had a clear policy of developing tourism, including river tourism. Typical examples include the itinerary program

Along the Dong Nai River, there are many tourist attractions suitable for exploration and experience activities; learning about cultural history... such as "Pho Islet, Tan Van Pottery Village, Nguyen Huu Canh Temple, Ong Pagoda, Tan Mai Floating Fish Village, Ba Xe Islet, Tan Trieu Grapefruit Village, Tri An Lake..."

In addition, the author also emphasizes some theoretical and practical bases related to Dong Nai tourism such as: geographical location - limits, natural conditions, economy, culture, society. The theoretical and practical bases presented in chapter 1 are also the basis and premise to delve into the current status of Dong Nai river tourism development in chapter 2.

The diversity and richness of terrain give Dong Nai province very good potential to be directly or indirectly exploited to create tourism products, serving the purpose of tourism development. The total number of tourist destinations according to terrain is 51, as follows: 3 forests; 7 hills and mountains; 8 lakes; 9 waterfalls; 4 streams; 8 rivers, islands and 12 parks and gardens. 23
2.1.1.2. Cultural and human resources:
Cultural resources are densely concentrated in Bien Hoa City and Pho Island. Notable are Ong Pagoda, Nguyen Huu Canh Temple, Tan Van Pottery Village, Tran Ngoc Du Ancient House, and Ngoc Phat Riverside Service Area. In particular, the pottery making profession in Tan Van Pottery Village is a highly valued intangible resource with unique features in the art of making pottery without a turntable.
