As we have analyzed above, the love story of Kieu - Thuc is the only true love story in the Tale of Kieu . Here we think we should stop to analyze more deeply and explain the motive why Nguyen Du describes the love story of Thuy Kieu and Thuc Sinh so poignantly. Because clarifying this issue will show us the change in Nguyen Du's perception of love compared to the cultural tradition, Chinese talented men and beautiful women novels and the cultural tradition, Vietnamese Nom poetry stories. First of all, as we have mentioned not really focused in chapter one and some small parts in chapter two and chapter three, the brothel space is the only space where people, especially talented people, are free, because there is no moral constraint and legal responsibility if there is a physical relationship with the opposite sex. There, initially and most commonly, the relationship between the prostitute and the customer is based only on money for the prostitute and on the need to solve sexual problems for the men. Therefore, this is also the most equal environment in terms of this criterion in traditional society. Outside the brothel, there is no
any equality between men and women. Only equality can create true love, because there is no coercion but only consent. Thuc Sinh came to Kieu initially for this purpose. But a more important reason is that only in the brothel is there an environment where there is free, realistic love between the rich guests and the prostitutes. Because, as a man in a traditional society, anyone must fulfill their duty and responsibility to their clan and family, which is to get married and have sons. Thus, the criterion of marriage is not love but the ability to reproduce. Therefore, between husband and wife, there is no such thing as love, even the so-called "sex" no longer exists, because "sex" is the satisfaction of sexual needs of both men and women, but this sex only satisfies men. Therefore, marriage is the matter of parents, the matter of two families. The parents took care of who they married, the date and time, the man and woman did not know, even when they were in the bridal chamber, they were respectful and respectful to each other. From this perspective, we can see that there was no love between Thuc Sinh and Hoan Thu. Therefore, it was completely normal for Thuc Sinh to seek out famous courtesans. However, as mentioned above, courtesans and rich guests had relationships based on money and the satisfaction of their sexual needs, so it was very difficult for true love to arise. Moreover, courtesans were always equipped with careful precautions against guests, because they received countless guests every day, and their status was difficult to predict. In particular, if they were noblemen, would they go to the brothel? Therefore, it is not simple to say that the space of the brothel and the relationship between courtesans and rich men gave rise to true love.
