5.2.4 Proposal group on landscape restoration and protection, tourism resources

Protecting tourism resources, tourism environment, and living environment on Binh Ba Island is a solution to improve tourism quality and attract tourists.

+ The situation of breaking and destroying coral, a natural resource of Binh Ba Island, is still happening. Local authorities need to have policies to protect tourism resources, protect the pristine natural landscape; strictly prohibit and punish acts of destroying resources on Binh Ba Island to develop sustainable tourism in the future.

+ Environmental protection, landscape protection, food safety and hygiene, and living environment safety need to be regularly disseminated to local people and tourism business households to ensure compliance with environmental protection regulations and improve waste and wastewater treatment systems.

+ Management levels regularly inspect, evaluate and classify quality, have certificates, discipline and rewards. People promptly detect and report to local authorities and management levels cases of environmental pollution, affecting the image and quality of Binh Ba tourism.

5.2.5 Proposed group for developing technical infrastructure

Most of these solutions are macro in nature and fall under the authority of state managers.

- First of all, it is necessary to prioritize capital sources to invest in building infrastructure such as:

+ The communication system always covers Binh Ba island and ensures good transmission, serving not only tourists but also supporting the promotion and advertising of tourism for the locality.


+ Expand and upgrade the road system on Binh Ba island.

+ Build a boat dock and public toilets for tourists that are safe, clean, and beautiful with a scale and area that anticipates the future development of tourism on Binh Ba island.

+ Complete the electricity and clean water supply system, ensuring that 100% of households on the island have access to it, and plan to provide it to serve the needs of tourists.

+ There is a team of environmental sanitation workers on the island to ensure hygiene and a clean environment so that tourists feel that the island has a professional form of tourism and cares for tourists, improving tourists' satisfaction with Binh Ba island tourism.

+ Banking services: If possible, local authorities should build and develop banking services to serve the needs of local people as well as tourists.

5.2.6 Proposed group for tourism products

This is the solution mentioned by many researchers, discussed by experts, very important to travel agencies, dreamed by people in tourism, expected by tourists, all of whom want innovation in products but must be based on existing tourism resources with a truly professional level of operation and business, ensuring quality as well as sustainable development.

- Exploit and promote more types of tourism:

+ Beach tourism: The basis for proposing a type of tourism based on the natural resources that Binh Ba Island has, with many clean, beautiful, and less polluted beaches such as Bai Nom, Bai Chuong, Bai Nha Cu... is an advantage to promote beach tourism and additional services.

+ Cultural tourism: With many wartime relics, relics from the French colonial period (1940): bunkers, cannon bases, mountain tunnels, Quan Am Temple, Dia Tang Temple, Ngoc Gia Huong Pagoda (often locked), Nam Hai Tomb... not yet properly exploited for tourism, this is a potential for local authorities to exploit tourism.


- Develop new tourism services: The survival philosophy of tourism is "Strange" ( Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung ). Therefore, tourism services and products that have been exploited for a long time also need to be innovated and supplemented so that tourists do not get bored. From the existing tourism potential and resources, Binh Ba island can develop new types of services such as:

+ Souvenir shopping service: This is a very necessary service, this service is being completely abandoned on Binh Ba island, while this part of tourism revenue accounts for a very large proportion in developed tourism countries. To implement this service, there needs to be planning by the State to open craft villages, paying special attention to products that are typical of the region and the convenience of the products. Or households on the island can take advantage of natural gifts from the sea such as pebbles, snail shells, clam shells, lobster shells... to make local products.

+ New type of fisherman service: The “one day as a fisherman” service includes: going to sea to fish with the locals, preparing local dishes, evening activities, etc. The new service is still based on the old foundation but has a long-term connection and combines with science and technology. This is a service that includes interconnected and long-term jobs. Tourists will participate in this service as both a beneficiary and a contributor to production and also a contributor to environmental protection. This service is called “homestay” tourism service.

5.3 Some recommendations

5.3.1 For the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province

- Need to expand cooperation and association on planning and tourism development of Binh Ba island.

- Regularly organize inspections and assessments of tourism businesses to ensure stability in product quality; handle them skillfully to ensure reputation.

- Actively organize and participate in conferences, seminars, and tourism promotion programs nationwide and in the province with larger, more diverse, and more attractive investments.

5.3.2 For Cam Binh commune government.

- Regularly organize training courses and professional development


Services and legal documents for tourist businesses in Binh Ba Island.

- More attention should be paid to investing in and completing infrastructure and technical facilities to create favorable conditions for tourism development on Binh Ba Island.

- It is necessary to promote and advertise diverse and attractive local tourism.


CONCLUDE


Tourism has become a key economic sector of many countries in the world because of its practical contribution to the development of the country; bringing many development opportunities to developing and underdeveloped countries. Besides, tourism brings about peaceful, friendly and cordial relations between countries and peoples; tourism contributes to the awareness of protecting the living environment of people... However, tourism activities and tourism services are both a technology and a very complex art because tourism is an industry that is related to many different industries, requiring investment, planning, vision, passion... like an orchestra needs a talented conductor to fully develop its existing potential and create a masterpiece for the audience. Tourism activities today are not simply a business of "buying and selling"

– selling” in the usual sense, but it is a matter between “giving” and “receiving” because the tourism object is the diversity of the customer objects and the diversity of tourism products. The more attractive and quality the tourism product is, the more the prestige of the locality, the country, and the people is appreciated.

The topic " Research on tourist satisfaction with Binh Ba Island - Khanh Hoa Province " conducted by the author is also not beyond the purpose of finding solutions to improve tourist satisfaction when coming to Binh Ba Island through the basis of theories related to tourism products, potential and current status of tourism activities in Binh Ba Island and the important factors that create the market, which are tourists and tourist satisfaction.

The author analyzed data using SPSS 18.0 software through 170 research samples that were sent directly to tourists. From the results of analyzing tourist satisfaction with Binh Ba Island, it was shown that tourist satisfaction was most affected by the factor Service style - attitude (B3 = 0.297), followed by the factor Accommodation (B2 = 0.193), followed by Food service (B4 = 0.186). The factor Tourism resources with B1 = 0.157 also had a significant impact on tourist satisfaction.

To further improve the satisfaction of tourists when coming to Binh Ba, the author has proposed specific and feasible solutions.

Besides the achievements of the topic, due to the limited knowledge of the researcher, the time and conditions for implementing the topic are quite constrained and narrow, the graduation thesis cannot avoid limitations and errors.

Firstly, although we have tried to do a lot of research in designing the questionnaire, using simple and easy-to-understand language, it is still inevitable that some subjects do not understand the questions clearly and therefore answer incorrectly according to their feelings.

Second, due to time and conditions constraints, the study was only conducted on Binh Ba Island with a relatively small number of visitors.

Third, the analysis of tourists' evaluation of their satisfaction with Binh Ba Island only stops at finding out which factors have the strongest influence on tourists' satisfaction, without going into depth to analyze the causes to explain that problem.

Fourth, the study used a convenience sampling method, so the results of the study are only valid for a group of tourists, and cannot be applied to the satisfaction of all tourists when coming to Binh Ba island.

In short, to meet the diverse needs of tourists, tourism products must also be diverse and rich, while product quality is always guaranteed and increasingly improved. We look forward to receiving further contributions and guidance from teachers, experts and those interested in the topic.
