Chapter 1 Conclusion


Educating students on political ideology and ethics is an educational process that aims to transform the ideology of Marxism-Leninism - Ho Chi Minh ideology, the guidelines and policies of the Party and State into the qualities and values ​​of each individual. The essence of this process is to turn the guidelines and policies of the Party and State into the voluntary implementation of the individual.

* Management of political ideology and ethics education for students: Is the purposeful and planned impact of managers on the collective, staff, teachers, students and educational forces inside and outside the school to mobilize them to participate and care about political ideology and ethics education for students, to effectively carry out the assigned task of managing political ideology and ethics education.

+ Managing political ideology and ethics education for students means managing the implementation of goals, contents, and programs of political ideology, ethics, and law education for students, educating students to have correct awareness of the guidelines, policies, laws, and ethical standards of the Party and State, to have faith in the Vietnamese revolution, with the policies and guidelines set forth by the Party and State, from which they form a sense of self-awareness in implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party, the laws of the State, the rules, regulations, and regulations of the school, and implementing the ethical standards required by society. CURRENT STATUS OF MANAGEMENT OF POLITICAL AND ETHICAL EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS AT THE COLLEGE OF ECONOMICS AND FINANCE IN THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE


2.1- SOME FEATURES OF THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE COLLEGE OF ECONOMICS AND FINANCE

2.1.1- Tradition and development of Thai Nguyen College of Economics and Finance

Thai Nguyen College of Economics and Finance (formerly Bac Thai High School of Economics) was established on December 20, 1978. After 30 years of growth and development, with the attention of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, the school has continuously developed and affirmed its reputation in the province as well as nationwide. Over the years, the school has been constantly innovating, being dynamic, creative, overcoming difficulties, striving to compete and build the school to become stronger and develop sustainably, expanding the scale of training, improving quality, maintaining the brand, creating the right direction for teachers and students of the school in the education and training career, specifically: on October 1, 2003, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision No. 5302/QD-BGD&DT to establish Thai Nguyen College of Economics and Finance on the basis of upgrading the former High School of Economics.

Thai Nguyen College of Economics and Finance is located on National Highway 3 Thai Nguyen - Hanoi in Thinh Dan Ward, Thai Nguyen City, with an area of ​​8 hectares including the entire school campus from the working area of ​​the Board of Directors, departments of teachers and staff, lecture halls, library, sports and national defense education training area, and student social and economic education.


Over the past 30 years, the School has trained tens of thousands of economic managers, fostered and trained thousands of professional staff to meet and promptly provide human resources with professional qualifications for the cause of building the national economy in the cause of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country. In addition, the School regularly cooperates with domestic and foreign universities to train economic managers with university and master's degrees. Currently, the school's regular training scale has from 2,500 to 3,500 full-time students, university training has from 1,000 to 1,500 students, and master's degrees have from 20 to 40 students.

Over the years, Thai Nguyen College of Economics and Finance has always been an excellent advanced unit, always the leading flag in the block of intermediate vocational colleges in the province. The Party Committee has continuously achieved the title of clean, strong and excellent Party Committee. The mass organizations have achieved excellent and strong results, and have been awarded many flags and certificates of merit by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Public Security, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. With its outstanding achievements in the cause of Education and Training, the school has been awarded many certificates of merit, flags, medals and noble medals by the Party and the State.

- In 1998, he was awarded the third class labor medal.

- In 2003, awarded the second class labor medal.

- In 2005, the Government awarded the flag to the excellent emulation unit.

Over the past 30 years, many generations of teachers and students have worked, studied and trained at the school. They are very proud of the school's glorious tradition. Promoting the tradition achieved over the years, the collective of teachers and students of the school have been striving to teach well - study well and train well, determined to build the school to develop more and more strongly, steadily moving forward in each stage of the career of development, innovation of the country and international economic integration. The school board organized a thematic conference to determine the school's mission.

The school's thematic resolution to determine the mission of "Training high-quality human resources in the fields of Accounting - Auditing; Finance - Banking; general business administration and economic information in accordance with the school's tasks in each period to meet the requirements of the country's industrialization and modernization and international economic integration".

General objective: “Build the school into a center for training high-quality human resources specializing in the fields of Accounting - Auditing; Banking and Finance, general business administration at all training levels, striving to become the University of Economics - Finance of Thai Nguyen Province by 2020.

* Specific goals of each stage

+ From 2010-2015: Focus all resources on building and training a team of highly qualified lecturers and building enhanced facilities to meet the requirements of a university.

+ 2013-2015: Prepare a project to propose the government to upgrade the school to the University of Economics and Finance under the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province.

+ From 2015-2020: Focus on building and developing lecturers, improving training quality, striving to train masters by 2017, and from 2020 to be qualified for doctoral training.


2.1.2- Functions, tasks and organizational structure

* Functions and duties :

Thai Nguyen College of Economics and Finance has the following tasks:

1- Training and fostering economic and financial management staff with college degrees or lower for ethnic minority children in Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan, Cao Bang provinces and neighboring provinces.

2- Organize scientific research activities in the field of Economics - Finance to serve the economic development needs of the province and the northern region of our country.

3- Training and updating new knowledge in the field of finance and economics

4- Training cooperation with domestic training schools for part-time work and study programs with bachelor's degrees in economics.

- Linking training to complete knowledge, from college level to full-time university degree.

5- Training cooperation with friendly countries such as: Philippines, China with undergraduate and master's degrees and overseas study consulting.

From the data in Table 2.1, it can be seen that: Currently, the staff and lecturers are stable in quantity and balanced between departments, subject groups, between the administrative block and the teaching block.

For management staff from the board of directors, departments and faculties with basic professional training qualifications meeting the standards prescribed by the State, having experience in management work, 100% of lecturers have completed level 1&2 pedagogical programs and university education programs according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

100% of the school's staff have political courage, good moral qualities, healthy and pure lifestyle, love the industry, love the profession, have high responsibility for the work, and are trusted and loved by students.

The school has a Party Committee, consisting of 4 branches with a total of 59 members. Party members play a good role as exemplary pioneers in all work, truly a shining example for the masses and students to follow.

In the work of organizing cadres, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors pay special attention to both quantity and quality. Improving the quality and quantity of the teaching staff is the top priority to improve the quality of education and training to meet the human resource needs of society.

The goal is to strive by 2015 for 100% of lecturers to have a master's degree, 10-15% to have a doctorate degree, and the school will be upgraded to the province's University of Finance.

Strengthening the training of solid professional expertise, management skills at the department, division, and subject level; 100% of managers meet the prescribed standards.

Regularly develop plans to supplement young staff and teachers to create resources for the future.

Ensure a balanced teaching staff structure between faculties, departments, and subjects to meet the stability and sustainable development of the school.

Construction of facilities. Completing the investment project to build a complete college of economics and technology approved by the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, including the following items:

- Completed construction of the government dormitory project with 2,000 accommodations for students.

- Equipment for teaching and learning such as computers and projectors worth from 6 billion to 10 billion VND.

2.1.3- Teaching staff

2.1.4- Student situation at school

Thai Nguyen College of Economics and Technology has the mission of training economic management staff with college degrees for children of ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen Province and neighboring provinces.
