202.06 ± 2.29kg, 268.21 ± 4.86kg and 330.57 ± 4.9kg. The weight of F 3 cows (HF x crossbred Sind) at the above ages is respectively: 33.19 ± 0.37kg, 137.22 ± 1.51kg, 213.38 ± 1.87kg, 297.01 ± 3.89kg and 344.3 ± 3.24kg. Nguyen Quoc Dat and CS (1998)[28] reported that the F 3 calf herd (HF x crossbred Sind) raised in Ho Chi Minh City at 6 months old reached 119.1 - 128.9kg, at 12 months old reached 201.97kg.
Monitoring the growth ability of the crossbred heifers at the Ba Vi Cattle and Grassland Research Center, Nguyen Quyet Thang (2001)[88] reported that the weight of crossbred calves (HF x Sind crossbred) at the Ba Vi Cattle and Grassland Research Center at 6 months of age was 116.41 - 121.98 kg, and at 12 months of age was 188.46 kg. Vu Van Noi and CS (2001)[75] reported that the crossbred heifers (HF x Sind crossbred) raised in household conditions in Ho Chi Minh City had the weights of newborn, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months of age respectively: 30.96 kg, 114.16 kg, 201.97 kg and 352.26 kg, with an average weight gain of 0.446 kg/day.
Vu Van Noi and CS (2007)[76] reported that the weight of the 75% HF fixed heifer herd at the ages of newborn, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 months was respectively: 28.27 ± 0.43kg, 151.04 ± 2.43kg, 236.08 ± 6.25kg, 290.23 ±
5.23kg and 320.70 ± 10.70kg. The research results of Nguyen Van Duc and CS (2008)[33] on the weight of HF cows at birth, 6 months and 18 months old at Moc Chau Dairy Cow Breeding Joint Stock Company were: 33.94kg, 134.61kg and 263.78kg.
Compared with the above results, the weight of F1, F2, F3 and HF cows raised in Lam Dong province is higher, especially in the experimental cow group. In our opinion, thanks to the experience in raising dairy cows, abundant food sources, and cool climate conditions in Lam Dong province, the genetic potential of the cow herd has been promoted, positively affecting their growth.
The weight change of the experimental cattle groups can be shown in Figure 3.3.

However, through chart 2.2, it can be seen that BIDV Tien Giang's profit is still increasing continuously, and its operating efficiency is currently leaking. This is a contribution of non-credit services, and this service segment will be increasingly focused on growth by BIDV Tien Giang to ensure the highest profit safety because credit activities have many potential risks. At the same time, focusing on developing non-credit services is consistent with one of the contents of restructuring the financial activities of credit institutions in the project "Restructuring the system of credit institutions in the period 2011-2015" approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 254/QD-TTg dated March 1, 2012 [14]: "Gradually shifting the business model of commercial banks towards reducing dependence on credit activities and increasing income from non-credit services".
2.2. Current status of non-credit service development at BIDV Tien Giang.
2.2.1. BIDV Tien Giang has deployed the development of non-credit services in recent times.
Along with the development of the Head Office, BIDV Tien Giang's products and services are constantly improved and deployed in a diverse manner to ensure provision for many different customer groups in the area: individual customers, corporate customers, and financial institutions. Typical services are as follows: Payment services, treasury services, guarantee services, card services, trade finance, other services: Western Union, insurance commissions, consulting services, foreign exchange derivatives trading, e-banking services,...
2.2.1.1. Payment services:
In accordance with the Prime Minister's Project to promote non-cash payments in Vietnam [15], banks in Tien Giang province have continuously developed payment services to reduce customers' cash usage habits through card services and electronic banking services such as: salary payment through accounts, focusing on developing card acceptance points, developing multi-purpose cards, paying social insurance by transfer, paying bills through banks, etc.

Along with the technological development of the entire system, BIDV Tien Giang has a payment system with a fairly stable transaction processing speed, bringing many conveniences to customers. The results of observing chart 2.3 show that the income from payment services that the Branch has achieved has grown over the years but the speed is not high and the products are not outstanding compared to other banks. Domestic payment products such as: Online bill payment, electricity bills, water bills, insurance premiums, cable TV bills, telecommunications fees, airline tickets, etc. bring many conveniences to customers. Regarding international payment, this is an indispensable activity for foreign economic activities, BIDV Tien Giang is providing international payment methods for small enterprises producing agriculture, aquatic food and seafood that have credit relationships with banks in industrial parks in Tien Giang province such as: money transfer, collection, L/C payment.
2.2.1.2. Treasury services:
BIDV Tien Giang always focuses on ensuring treasury safety and currency security, always complies with legal regulations, and minimizes risks in operations such as: counting and collecting money from customers, receiving and delivering internal transactions, collecting from the State Bank (SBV) or other credit institutions, receiving ATM funds, bundling money, etc. BIDV Tien Giang's treasury service management department is always fully equipped with modern machinery and equipment such as: money transport vehicles, fire prevention tools, money counters, money detectors, magnifying glasses, etc. to ensure absolute safety in treasury operations, immediately identifying real and fake money and other risks that may affect people and assets of the bank and customers. In addition, implementing regulation 2480/QC dated October 28, 2008 between the State Bank of Tien Giang province and the Provincial Police on coordination in the fight against counterfeit money, in the 3-year review of implementation, BIDV Tien Giang discovered, seized and submitted to the State Bank of Tien Giang province 475 banknotes of various denominations and was commended by the Provincial Police and the State Bank of Tien Giang province [17].

However, as shown in Figure 2.4, income from treasury operations is not high and fluctuates. Specifically, in the period 2011-2013, net income increased and increased most sharply in 2013, then in the period 2013-2015, there was a downward trend. This fluctuation is due to the fact that fees collected from treasury services are often very low and can even be waived to attract customers to use other services.
2.2.1.3. Guarantee and trade finance services:
BIDV Tien Giang, thanks to the advantages of the province and the favorable location of the Branch, has continuously focused on developing income from guarantee services and trade finance.

Through chart 2.5, we can see that BIDV Tien Giang's income from guarantee services and trade finance has grown over the years. The reason is: Among BIDV Tien Giang's corporate customers, the construction industry is the industry with the highest proportion of customers after the trading industry, this is a group of customers with potential to develop guarantee services. The second group of customers is corporate customers in the fields of agricultural production, livestock and seafood processing with high import and export turnover in the area.
are the target of trade finance development. In addition, BIDV Tien Giang also focuses on continuously developing these customer groups to increase revenue for many other products and services in the future.
2.2.1.4. Card and POS services:
As a service that BIDV Tien Giang has recently developed strongly, it can be said that this is a very potential market and has the ability to develop even more strongly in the future. Card services with outstanding advantages such as fast payment time, wide payment range, quite safe, effective and suitable for the integration trend and the Project to promote non-cash payments in Vietnam. Cards have become a modern and popular payment tool. BIDV Tien Giang early identified that developing card services is to expand the market to people in society, create capital mobilized from card-opened accounts, contribute to diversifying banking activities, enhance the image of the bank, bring the BIDV Tien Giang brand to people as quickly and easily as possible. BIDV Tien Giang is currently providing card types such as: credit cards (BIDV MasterCard Platinum, BIDV Visa Gold Precious, BIDV Visa Manchester United, BIDV Visa Classic), international debit cards (BIDV Ready Card, BIDV Manu Debit Card), domestic debit cards (BIDV Harmony Card, BIDV eTrans Card, BIDV Moving Card, BIDV-Lingo Co-branded Card, BIDV-Co.opmart Co-branded Card). These cards can be paid via POS/EDC or on the ATM system. In addition, with debit cards, customers can not only withdraw money via ATMs but also perform utilities such as mobile top-up, online payment, money transfer,... through electronic banking services.
In order to attract customers with card services, BIDV Tien Giang has continuously increased the installation of ATMs. As of December 31, 2015, BIDV Tien Giang has 23 ATMs combined with 7 ATMs in the same system of BIDV My Tho, so the number of ATMs is quite large, especially in the center of My Tho City, but is not yet fully present in the districts. Basic services on ATMs such as withdrawing money, checking balances, printing short statements,... BIDV ATMs accept cards from banks in the system.
Banknetvn and Smartlink, cards branded by international card organizations Union Pay (CUP), VISA, MasterCard and cards of banks in the Asian Payment Network. From here, cardholders can make bill payments for themselves or others at ATMs, by simply entering the subscriber number or customer code, booking code that service providers notify and make bill payments.

Through chart 2.6, it can be seen that BIDV Tien Giang's card service income is constantly growing because the Branch focuses on developing businesses operating in industrial parks, which are the source of customers for salary payment products, ATMs, BSMS. Specifically, there are companies such as Freeview, Quang Viet, Dai Thanh, which are businesses with a large number of card openings at the Branch, contributing to the increase in card service fees [25].

Through table 2.6, the author finds that the number of ATMs of BIDV Tien Giang is not much, ranking fourth after Agribank Tien Giang, Dong A Tien Giang, Sacombank Tien Giang. The number of POS machines of BIDV Tien Giang is very small, only higher than Dong A Tien Giang and BIDV My Tho in the initial stages of merging the BIDV system. Besides, BIDV Tien Giang has a high number of cards increasing over the years (table 2.7) but the cumulative number of cards issued up to December 31, 2015 is still relatively low compared to Agribank, Vietcombank, Dong A (table 2.6).

(Mean numbers with different letters in the same column are statistically different, P < 0.05).
The results in Table 3.6 show that, similar to the group of cows monitored, the average daily growth of the F 1 , F 2 , F 3 and HF groups raised in the experiment reached the highest from birth to 6 months of age (respectively: 611.31 ± 3.80g/day, 638.89 ± 2.29g/day, 687.53 ± 5.21g/day and 728.28g ± 2.74/day) and then tended to decrease gradually. At the stage of 19 to 24 months of age, the absolute growth of the cow groups reached the lowest, respectively: 385.22 ± 8.14g/day, 405.36 ± 10.79g/day, 434.78 ± 12.36g/day and 481.42g/day. ± 11.70g/day but still reached a higher value than the group of cows monitored. In general, the absolute growth during 24 months of the F 1 , F 2 , F 3 and HF groups raised in the experiment reached respectively: 576.92g, 473.79g, 510.78g and 537.85g/day, higher than the group of cows monitored. Thus, the group of cows raised in the experiment grew and developed quite well.
Similarly, the relative growth of the experimental cattle groups was highest from birth to 6 months of age, then gradually decreased. From birth to 6 months of age, the relative growth of the F 1 , F 2 , F 3 and HF groups was: 124.36 ± 0.41%, 126.49 ± 0.36%, 129.53 ± 0.41% and 129.53 ± 0.41%, respectively.
132.24 ± 0.22%. The corresponding period from 19 to 24 months of age is: 20.40 ± 0.32%,
19.98 ± 0.71%, 20.48 ± 0.66% and 21.34 ± 0.47%.
Thus, across ages, growth indicators in the experimental cattle groups were all higher than those in the monitoring group, and HF cattle always had the highest weight, followed by F3 and the lowest was F1 . In the neonatal stage to 6 months of age, there was almost no significant difference in weight, from 7 months of age onwards, the difference became larger, especially between HF cattle and crossbreds. The coefficient of variation in growth of the cattle groups during the entire experimental period was lower than that of the monitoring group, demonstrating that the experimental cattle herd had higher uniformity. In our opinion, due to better care and nutrition and a more balanced diet, the experimental cattle group grew better.

The obtained data showed that similar to the group of monitored cows, in the experimental groups of cows, the measurements of F1 cows were the lowest, the highest was HF cows and also increased gradually according to the level of HF blood increase in the crossbred animals. The measurements of fin height, chest circumference and diagonal body length of F1, F2, F3 and HF cows raised in the experiment at 6 months of age reached values in the range of 98.47 ± 0.94cm - 107.38 ± 0.88cm, 122.53 ± 0.93cm - 128.48 ± 0.85cm and 108.13 ± 0.64cm - 116.71 ±
0.62cm. At 24 months of age, it was between 127.69 ± 1.10cm – 136.41 ± 1.18cm, 175.70 ± 1.49cm – 181.23 ± 1.37cm and 145.81 ± 1.32cm –
153.72 ± 0.71cm respectively.
The body length, body roundness and weight indexes of F 1 , F 2 , F 3 and HF cows at 6 months of age were respectively: 110.01 ± 0.89 – 108.77 ± 0.76, 113.36 ± 1.02 –
110.13 ± 0.89 and 124.59 ± 1.20 – 119.78 ± 1.24. At 24 months of age, the indices
This achieved: 114.39 ± 1.16 – 112.87 ± 1.15, 120.72 ± 1.62 – 117.90 ± 0.91and
137.72 ± 1.39 – 133.12 ± 1.31 respectively.
Dimensions and body composition indexes are specific manifestations of the growth and development process of cattle. The results showed that the body length, body roundness and weight indexes of experimental cattle tended to be slightly lower and inclined towards milk production.
The coefficient of variation of the measurements and body composition indexes of the experimental cattle groups were lower than those of the monitoring cattle group, demonstrating that the experimental cattle group had more stable body composition indexes.
The dimensions and body composition indexes of the monitored and experimental cattle groups did not differ significantly. This shows that HF cattle and their crossbreds raised in Lam Dong province grew and developed quite well.
Regarding body structure indexes, Tran Trong Them (1986)[89] reported that the body length index of 1/2, 3/4, 3/8 and 11/16 HF cows at Phu Dong Farm -
Hanoi is in the range of 122.45 - 129.78; the roundness index is 105.6 - 113.25. Thus, our results are lower in body length index but slightly higher in body roundness index. According to the published data of Nguyen Quoc Dat (1999) [29], the body length and roundness index of the F 1 , F 2 and F 3 cow groups raised in Ho Chi Minh City are in the range of 113.9 - 114.7 and 118.9 - 120.8, so our results are equivalent.
Thus, our results on body length and roundness indexes of F1, F2 and F3 cattle groups raised in Lam Dong province are consistent with the research results of the above authors.
3.1.2.3 Describing the growth of cattle groups using the Gompertz function
With the data set of monitoring and experimental raising on the growth of HF cow groups and crossbreds F 1 , F 2 , F 3 between HF cows and Sind crossbred cows, using the residual sum of squares method of Levenberg (1994) [151]], Marquardt (1963) [157], we described the growth of cow groups using the Gompertz function through the nonlinear regression procedure of STATGRAPHICS Centurion XV Version 15.1.02 software.
The results of the estimated calculations of the parameters m, a and b of the regression equation on the growth of the groups of cows monitored and raised experimentally are presented in Table 3.9; 3.10 and represented by Figures 3.5; 3.6; 3.7; 3.8;
3.9; 3.10; 3.11 and 3.12.
The results obtained in Table 3.9 show that in the group of monitored cows, the growth of F1 cows has the following regression equation:
Y 1 = 420.80EXP[- 2.37EXP(- 0.105x)]
With the coefficient of determination of the growth curve of this function is: R 2 = 98.30%.

However, through chart 2.2, it can be seen that BIDV Tien Giangs profit is still increasing continuously, and its operating efficiency is currently leaking. This is a contribution of non-credit services, and this service segment will be increasingly focused on growth by BIDV Tien Giang to ensure the highest profit safety because credit activities have many potential risks. At the same time, focusing on developing non-credit services is consistent with one of the contents of restructuring the financial activities of credit institutions in the project Restructuring the system of credit institutions in the period 2011-2015 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 254/QD-TTg dated March 1, 2012 [14]: Gradually shifting the business model of commercial banks towards reducing dependence on credit activities and increasing income from non-credit services.
2.2. Current status of non-credit service development at BIDV Tien Giang.
2.2.1. BIDV Tien Giang has deployed the development of non-credit services in recent times.
Along with the development of the Head Office, BIDV Tien Giangs products and services are constantly improved and deployed in a diverse manner to ensure provision for many different customer groups in the area: individual customers, corporate customers, and financial institutions. Typical services are as follows: Payment services, treasury services, guarantee services, card services, trade finance, other services: Western Union, insurance commissions, consulting services, foreign exchange derivatives trading, e-banking services,...
2.2.1.1. Payment services:
In accordance with the Prime Ministers Project to promote non-cash payments in Vietnam [15], banks in Tien Giang province have continuously developed payment services to reduce customers cash usage habits through card services and electronic banking services such as: salary payment through accounts, focusing on developing card acceptance points, developing multi-purpose cards, paying social insurance by transfer, paying bills through banks, etc.

BIDV Tien Giangs treasury service management department is always fully equipped with modern machinery and equipment such as: money transport vehicles, fire prevention tools, money counters, money detectors, magnifying glasses, etc. to ensure absolute safety in treasury operations, immediately identifying real and fake money and other risks that may affect people and assets of the bank and customers.

Through chart 2.5, we can see that BIDV Tien Giangs income from guarantee services and trade finance has grown over the years. The reason is: Among BIDV Tien Giangs corporate customers, the construction industry is the industry with the highest proportion of customers after the trading industry, this is a group of customers with potential to develop guarantee services.

Through chart 2.6, it can be seen that BIDV Tien Giangs card service income is constantly growing because the Branch focuses on developing businesses operating in industrial parks, which are the source of customers for salary payment products, ATMs, BSMS.
