perception, dramatic situations. Each type of situation gives readers different feelings. She often uses psychological structures to create emotions and concerns for readers when following each page of her writing. Y Ban has a flexible way of expressing language with many interwoven tones, making her works close to life, democratic and deeply humane. The everyday language, imbued with folklore, makes her stories soft, smooth, profound and closer to readers. She often calls the characters' names in a vague way. This makes readers feel like they "encounter" her characters somewhere in everyday life. Reading Y Ban's short stories, sometimes we see her using a lyrical, gentle tone, sometimes a philosophical contemplative tone, and sometimes a humorous, satirical tone. No matter what tone she uses, she leaves an unforgettable impression on the reader, evoking many possibilities for dialogue and reflection. With her own writing style, Y Ban has contributed a voice to enrich the picture of contemporary female prose.
Researching the art world in Y Ban's short stories shows that she is a writer who is responsible for her profession, who explores, experiments and innovates her creative inspiration and writing style. The collections of stories she wrote before 2000 often reflect the fate of people, especially women. Recently, when she switched to journalism, her works turned to society, addressing "hot" issues of reality, touching on pressing issues and complex relationships. Through her "herd" of short stories, she shows her attachment to the genre and a tenacity and dedication in creative work. With her achievements, she has created a gentle yet fierce style in contemporary Vietnamese prose.
