The influence of the Three Religions in the ethical thought of Le Thanh Tong - 14

GENERAL CONCLUSION

Our nation's history has gone through thousands of years of building and defending the country, and during that process, our nation's ideology has also been constantly moving, and with each passing era, that ideological foundation has become richer and deeper. Up to now, our nation has established a spiritual culture imbued with national identity. One of the elements contributing to the rich diversity of our nation's culture is the Three Religions system.

The Three Religions (Confucianism - Buddhism - Taoism) originated from India and China and were introduced to our country two thousand years ago. The tolerance of the indigenous culture, polytheism, and complex ideology transformed and absorbed the Three Religions into the indigenous ideology. Gradually, the ethical ideology of the Three Religions became the pillar of traditional Vietnamese ideology and played an important role in Vietnamese spiritual life, especially in the field of ethical ideology.

Along with the ups and downs of national history, the ethical thoughts of the Three Religions system have also suffered inevitable ups and downs, sometimes sublimated, sometimes "retreating into seclusion", but in any circumstance, the Three Religions are always present in the minds and lifestyles of the people, they simply enter the moral life of the people and take deep root there.

If in the Dinh, Ly, Tran dynasties, the tolerance of the Three Religions with the pillar of Buddhism was the true position recognized by the whole country and people, by the 15th century in the early Le dynasty, Confucianism was taken as the core of the orthodox ideology in political and moral life. That change actually started with Ho Quy Ly, but finally reached its peak with King Le Thanh Tong. However, he could not escape the influence of the worldview and philosophy of life, especially the ethical thoughts of Buddhism and Taoism. This also proves the deep roots of the ethics of the Three Religions in the spiritual life of our people. Going into the study of the relationship of the Three Religions in the ethical thoughts of Le Thanh Tong through his poetic works helps to recognize and

understand the above issue more clearly to see another aspect of his rich spiritual life.

Through analyzing the manifestations of the influence of the Three Religions on the ethical thought of Le Thanh Tong, we see that, although the influence is profound, all are filtered through the frame of reference of the ideology of patriotism, love for the people, and national spirit. The ethical values of the Three Religions have integrated with indigenous ethical values and only through restructuring can they promote their value in practice, creating his great career.

The influence of the Three Religions in the ethical thought of Le Thanh Tong - 14

Today, if we delve into the elements of the Three Religions' ethical concept in Le Thanh Tong's thought, there are still necessary contents for building new ethics for Vietnamese people today in order to maintain discipline and social order. In the past, feudal ethics were beautiful, but for working people, their values were only in books, it was just an utopia as President Ho Chi Minh once commented: "The ethics that our ancestors mentioned in the past could not be practiced by everyone, because people living in the old society were oppressed and exploited, and the relationship between people was often bad. Now, in the new society, there is no oppression or exploitation, and everyone can reach the pinnacle of revolutionary ethics." The examples of ancient sages are only a few dozen and are foreign stories, transferred from imagination, while today's sages include millions of real people among our Vietnamese people, at home or on the street.

As for the value of the concept of influence and morality of the Three Religions in Le Thanh Tong in today's conditions, these are the elements that Ho Chi Minh "transformed" and enriched, contributing to creating new moral standards, suitable for new social conditions - new revolutionary morality. In order for those revolutionary moral concepts to enter life, we must strengthen education and training and build a system of social values, a system of social standards of morality, "training morality, cultivating talent" is the educational motto to create people who always take morality as the direction of their activities, and exemplary leaders who take moral talent as the direction of their activities.

morality to educate people, make society stable and develop according to Ho Chi Minh's thought.

In the past, Confucianism - Buddhism - Taoism was to seek personal liberation, but now it is necessary to expand social purposes associated with new practical requirements of society, building the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.

If in the past, loyalty to the King was considered loyalty today, then loyalty to the Party, the Country, and the socialist ideals is considered loyalty. If in the past, filial piety only meant filial piety to one's parents, today it is not only filial piety to one's own parents but also filial piety to all parents in the whole country, knowing how to remember the contributions of those who have contributed to the Fatherland, knowing how to respect the elderly, and respecting women. If in the past, being an official was to "glorify the second family", then today, being a revolutionary cadre is to be a "loyal servant of the people". It is to "worry about the world first, and enjoy the world later".

Thus, it can be seen that studying and inheriting valuable elements and ethical concepts of the Three Religions in Le Thanh Tong's ideology and incorporating new contents and standards into them is extremely necessary so that we can build a new ethical standard suitable for Vietnamese people in the context of globalization and international economic integration.

Through studying the influence of the concept of the Three Religions in the "Ethics" thought of Le Thanh Tong, it can be affirmed that he was a king who played an important role in consolidating and developing the centralized state, and at the same time had a positive historical effect in the cause of building and developing the spiritual culture of our country in the second half of the 15th century. Le Thanh Tong believed that the king must use "Ethics" to govern the country and pacify the people, that is, the king must have exemplary moral qualities and character, must have the ability and will to make the country rich and strong in all aspects, must understand the books of the sages, must cultivate the moral character of relatives, fulfill all responsibilities to the people, and consider the people as the root of the country. That is why in the field of national management, he simultaneously paid attention to

Building a country with a strong economy, stable politics, strict laws, a military ready to fight, and a developed cultural and educational policy. With later policies that favored literature and military, expanding land and borders to protect territorial sovereignty, and having a self-reliant foreign policy. The King also paid great attention to agriculture, "Encouraging agriculture to have enough food and clothing", protecting dikes, reclaiming land to establish villages... In terms of ideology and spirit, the King had to harmonize the Three Religions, apply the Three Religions to the construction of the country, propagate and consolidate the feudal ideology, have a correct perspective, bravely look straight at the truth, exonerated Nguyen Trai who was unjustly executed and also ordered to find his posthumous documents to pass on to future generations.

It can be said that the Le Thanh Tong dynasty was a dynasty of comprehensive development in feudal history. Le Thanh Tong was one of the kings who held the position of head of state for the longest time in our country's feudal regime, with 38 years of reign, a prosperous country, peaceful and stable people. Although he was a peaceful emperor, he knew how to heal the danger of a dynasty's rift to continue the glorious cause of nation building, worthy of inheriting the career of Le Loi and Nguyen Trai. He excellently fulfilled the important responsibility that history entrusted to him. His name is associated with a period of prosperity and revival of the country. National history highly appreciated him in all fields. He is an example of talent, will, determination and decisive action in work.

All of the above contributions of Le Thanh Tong have brought him to the position of a politician, a thinker, a cultural celebrity. Today, we proudly admire a man who, despite being in a high position in an autocratic monarchy, never forgot his career for the country, for the people, for a prosperous nation, who had both a tradition of defending the Fatherland steadfastly and heroically, and a will to rise up and keep up with the times. More than 500 years have passed since the day Le Thanh Tong "Bang entered the sacred soul and entered the sacred soul".

"Dreaming" how many things have changed, but the valuable cores of the Three Teachings that he received still have meaning for building human morality.

Our country's history has gone through many ups and downs and now looking back we are justifiably proud of people like Le Thanh Tong whose thoughts on "Ethics" in particular and his life and career in general have become a major topic for social scientists and humanities today both domestically and internationally to continue researching.

Today, in the context of our country entering a period of comprehensive and profound innovation. We must be ready in both position and strength to bring the country to a new stage of "industrialization and modernization" for the cause of "rich people, strong country, fair and civilized society" alongside "an advanced culture, imbued with national identity". Faced with practical issues, the inheritance and promotion of national cultural and ideological heritages becomes more urgent. Because we are moving towards modernity, we really need the source of strength from the national historical tradition, to create a rich and diverse cultural life. We "take the past to serve the present" to further sharpen the national identity and national traditions so as not to fall into a state of chaotic and chaotic reception, but to be constantly purified to become more precious, more pure and suitable to the soul, feelings and tastes of the Vietnamese people. Inheriting and developing the concept of "Three religions in ethical thought" of Le Thanh Tong is to create new models for the new era.

Perhaps there are many things that need to be studied, when it comes to the influence of the concept of "Three Religions in the ethical thought" of Le Thanh Tong, on each specific aspect and the successful lessons that Le Thanh Tong has contributed to history, which is a matter of necessary significance for science and for practice. But due to the scope of the topic and limited ability, it only stops at a certain level with the general nature of the influence of the concept of "Three Religions in the ethical thought" of Le Thanh Tong and the inheritance and development in the current period.

The influence of the concept of "Three Religions in the Moral Thought" of Le Thanh Tong includes very rich, diverse and complex issues. The author of the thesis hopes to receive many research works on many specific aspects of the above thought in the future. I look forward to receiving comments and guidance from teachers.
