CONCLUDE
In addition to great opportunities, the banking system also has to face new challenges in the process of international integration in general and banking and finance integration in particular. In that context, capital mobilization is an urgent issue for Vietnamese commercial banks in general and the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade in particular. Through the above analysis and assessment, it can be seen that in recent times, the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade has made many positive changes in capital mobilization methods, capital sources have been improved in both quantity and quality. Total capital sources have grown rapidly, in which the capital structure has changed in a direction that is beneficial to the business activities of the bank. However, the capital mobilization activities of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade have not yet really developed strongly, have not fully exploited the potential of mobilized capital sources, the ratio of medium and long-term capital in the total capital sources is still low, not meeting the demand for medium and long-term capital. Meanwhile, non-term capital accounts for a high proportion, causing instability to the capital source of the bank... In order to overcome the remaining problems and improve the efficiency of capital mobilization, the State Bank of Vietnam needs to implement the following main solutions:
- Promote marketing activities to attract customers to deposit money by measures such as promoting propaganda and advertising widely about banking services, forms of capital mobilization, attracting deposits...
- Invest in completing and modernizing banking technology in a synchronous manner to standardize banking operations according to international standards.
