INTRODUCTION

1. Reason for choosing the topic.

Tourism has become a popular trend globally, international tourism is constantly growing, domestic tourism accounts for a large proportion. Tourism has become one of the fastest growing and largest service industries globally, contributing to the development and prosperity of countries, especially developing countries, remote areas, which consider tourism development as a tool to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty and economic growth. This is a great opportunity of the times that Vietnam can take advantage of to develop new and diverse types of tourism, taking advantage of tourism resources to quickly achieve development goals, especially the emerging trend of community tourism is an opportunity to promote economic development for poor areas and developing countries like Vietnam.

Community tourism is a type of tourism that aims to preserve resources and the environment at tourist destinations for sustainable tourism development, while encouraging and enhancing the participation of local communities in organizing tourism activities, thereby creating sustainable livelihoods and contributing to increasing their income; community tourism also particularly attracts international visitors from the local tourism products of the tourist area. With these outstanding advantages, developing community tourism in the current period is considered an effective tool to address the negative impacts of tourism, aiming at sustainable, long-term development.

The benefits of community tourism are undeniable. Promoting and expanding community tourism models will enrich tours and routes associated with nature and the community, arouse environmental protection awareness among people and tourists, create sustainability in tourism development, and bring socio-economic benefits to the locality.

Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province is located at the northern gateway to Da Lat city, with traffic connecting Nha Trang and the southern Central Highlands with natural landscapes, cool climate and more than 40 ethnic minority communities with a unique culture, rich in identity, especially gong culture, Lac Duong has been and is witnessing
