In Vietnam, with nearly 80% of the population living in rural areas, the development of the household economy is considered the most important factor ensuring the sustainable development of the country, playing a very important role and position, being an important subject in rural innovation in the current period of the country. Since determining the economic role of the household, the movement of good farmers is expanding, many households are investing in strengthening technical facilities to develop production, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the economy in general and agricultural production in particular, gradually improving the lives of farmers and the face of the countryside.

With its functions, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (BARD) of Quang Binh has determined that agriculture and rural areas are the main market for its operations. Production households are the basic and main customers of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Binh at present and in the future, most of whom are farming households (agricultural production households). BARD determines that serving agricultural production households, a large production and business force, creating a large amount of goods for society is a task of economic, political and social significance.

From the requirements for lending activities of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development for farmers in Quang Binh, from the perspective of approaching the political economic knowledge that has been learned,

The thesis used the method of collecting and processing primary and secondary data, and the interview sampling method. Based on the above methods along with the systematized theoretical issues to analyze and evaluate the current status of lending activities to support the development of the household economy at Agribank Quang Binh in the period of 2010-2013. Accordingly, the author proposed a number of solutions to promote lending activities to support the development of the household economy at Agribank Quang Binh in the coming period.
