Besides the language system that has depicted quite vividly the artistic space of the mountainous region, creating an impression in the writer's writings, the art of the novel Ma Truong Nguyen still has a sense of awkwardness. That is the way the story ends, which is still forced due to the influence of folk elements, and the loneliness of the character... However, the consistency in artistic inspiration, in the writer's unwavering love for his homeland and mountains and forests, has created a unique mark for his work, helping the work to have a firm place in the hearts of readers.
4. In the general movement of modern ethnic minority prose, Ma Truong Nguyen's novel has contributed a very important voice. It not only adds color to the general picture of novels in particular and ethnic minority prose in general, but more than that, it has brought to this literary genre a writing style imbued with the cultural identity of the mountainous region; contributing to the formation and affirmation of the position of an extremely important literary genre - mountainous literature.
