(Author's research source)
The need for health workers to guide them on how to care for themselves in the hospital and at home: 30% of patients rated it very good, 60% rated it good and 10% of patients rated it as not meeting their needs. Through interviews, it was found that the reason for not meeting their needs was because patients thought that the information and methods of guiding them on how to care for themselves in the hospital and at home were difficult to understand, many people did not have access to them (did not use social networks, websites, were not allowed to watch TV in the hospital or were able to watch but did not understand, etc.).
The need to be provided with information on how to prevent and detect the risk of getting the disease was rated very good by 50% of patients, and good by 45%; thus, the percentage of patients who rated this need of patients was met by social workers, which is considered a success in the propaganda, prevention and early detection of cancer of K hospital in particular and of the health sector in general. 5% of patients rated it bad, the reason comes from patients who do not have genetic factors or warning signs of cancer; therefore, when they are diagnosed with cancer, they are often psychologically shocked, pessimistic and have a mentality of being punished to pay off debts due to their previous life's bad deeds.
The need to be provided with information about the most advanced treatment methods today is rated very good by 50% of patients, good by 25% of patients and bad by 25%. Through interviews, it is known that patients think that providing information about the most advanced treatment methods must come with specific and accurate treatment costs, while the social work department only gives general figures. In fact, because it is the most advanced and newest method, therefore
It is not covered by insurance and has not been verified, so the social work department has difficulty giving exact figures on treatment costs.
The need to be provided with information related to nutrition for cancer prevention and treatment is the need that is assessed to best meet their needs, with 75% of patients rating it very good, 25% of patients rating it good and 5% rating it bad.

(Author's research source) As analyzed in Table 2.14, patients assessed that some needs for communication, information provision and health education were not fully met. The reason is believed to be due to difficulties in accessing information sources, as well as the ability to provide and receive information of the patients themselves.
disease,...Therefore, the author focuses on evaluating the level of patient satisfaction with the communication channels, providing medical information and health education used by social workers.
The results obtained in Table 2.15 show that the implementation of communication, information provision and health education tasks by social workers at K Hospital is highly appreciated by patients, thus proving that communication and information provision activities are currently being implemented quite well by social workers at K Hospital. The Social Work Department of K Hospital is authorized to be the hospital's spokesperson, each staff member is a propagandist in cancer prevention work as well as hospital activities, some of the department's articles have reached tens of thousands of interested and following people. According to the above results, the communication and information provision activities on the Website, Fanpage of K Hospital, Fanpage of Social Work Department of K Hospital's social workers are highly appreciated by patients (70% are very satisfied, 25% are satisfied and 5% are not satisfied); Next is through social workers directly consulting and providing information (hospital hotline; patient consultation and support switchboard) (60% rated very satisfied, 30% satisfied and 10% rated dissatisfied); patient council meetings received the lowest level of satisfaction (20% rated very satisfied, 60% rated satisfied and 20% rated dissatisfied).
(PVS Nam, patient in Internal Medicine Department 2. I am a patient with metastatic lung cancer. I really want to hear experts share about my illness. However, I am old and my family's financial situation is difficult. My phone can only be used for making and receiving calls. I want to watch TV programs in the department, but the department where I am staying does not have a TV ).
Through in-depth interviews, the author found that 30% of patients were dissatisfied with the videos shown in examination areas and departments because the number of televisions in departments is currently small, only treatment rooms on demand are equipped with televisions, while the remaining normal service rooms (hospital beds paid for by health insurance) are not equipped with televisions while the number of patients who need to watch
There is a lot of medical information, besides, the TVs have very small screens and sounds, making it difficult for patients, especially the elderly, those who have had long-term chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which affects their ability to see and hear, to access and follow the information. Currently, there are 10 departments that are not equipped with TVs in the waiting areas and administrative halls of the departments. On the other hand, currently, if there is a TV, the entire department only has 1 TV located in the administrative area of the department, where there is a large concentration of patients, which also affects the ability to monitor and access medical information of patients.
In addition to the above activities, from April 22, 2020, in order to provide useful information to patients, their families and the people about cancer prevention and treatment, the K Hospital Social Work Department has advised, proposed and chaired the implementation of an online consultation program, with the participation of leading experts in the field of cancer. The program is carried out weekly and broadcast on the hospital's fanpage and youtube. The program has received very positive feedback and has attracted the attention of many patients, their families and the people. Program No. 09 "Early detection and treatment of breast cancer" has reached nearly 40,000 people. Patients, their families and the people can watch the program again via the hospital's fanpage and youtube; at the same time, the program is also rebroadcast in the waiting rooms of the hospital's departments for patients to follow. Patients, their families and the people can send questions and concerns for the program's experts to answer. This is a new and bright spot of the K hospital's social work department in communication, information provision, and health education for patients.
In addition, K Hospital's social workers also develop articles on cancer prevention with professional advice from the Hospital's leading experts and send them to press agencies for widespread dissemination such as: lung cancer, esophageal cancer, side effects of targeted therapy drugs, etc.
The hospital's electronic information portal: http://benhvienk.vn/ has a total of about 6.8 million visits. Promote and develop the provision of medical information to the community on social networks through the K Hospital fanpage with the address
https://www.facebook.com/benhvienk.vn/?ref=bookmarks with a total of 31,226 followers and nearly 29,000 likes. The Social Work Department of K Hospital also has a fanpage to post news about the social activities of the department and hospital at https://www.facebook.com/phongctxh.bvk/has attracted more than 6,000 followers and likes to the fanpage.

Thus, it can be seen that, in general, the task of communication, providing information and health education for patients by social workers is assessed by the hospital's medical staff as having been performed quite well (46.7% rated it as very good, 53.3% rated it as good and no one rated it as bad). However, according to the patients, the rate of this activity meeting their needs and desires is as follows: 50% of patients rated it as very good, 40% as good and 10% of patients rated this task of social workers as not being performed well. Thus, it can be seen that in general, the task of communication, providing medical information and health education by social workers is assessed by the hospital's patients as having met the needs and desires of the patients.
A survey on medical information needs by Mistry A also showed that when patients are provided with complete information about their medical condition, prognosis, treatment regimens, instructions on how to care for patients, etc., especially for cancer, it will help them cope with psychological problems and fully cooperate with the health care team.
Medical staff in the treatment process. This shows the importance of medical information in the treatment of diseases, as well as meeting the needs of patients.
2.3.3. Current status of meeting patients' needs for the task of mobilizing and receiving sponsorship
Mobilizing and receiving sponsorship is a task that social workers are performing regularly, receiving attention and high appreciation in the activities of the Social Work Department of K Hospital. With the characteristics of a specialized oncology hospital, the nature of serious and dangerous diseases, long-term and expensive treatment, the hospital's patients receive a lot of attention from charitable individuals and organizations at home and abroad. This both demonstrates the spirit of mutual love of the nation and demonstrates responsibility to the community, sharing with people in difficult circumstances who unfortunately have serious illnesses and are at the door of life and death.

5 | Other forms (clubs bringing music to hospitals, clubs providing psychological support for patients, screening movies about how to Network, Yoga, Club bringing music to hospitals,... | 90 | 90% |
(Author's research source)
Thus, it can be seen that 90% of patients coming for treatment at K Hospital are received and have access to forms of support such as participating in clubs that bring music to the hospital, clubs that provide psychological support for patients, screening revolutionary films, Yoga, clubs that bring music to the hospital... These are typical social work models that the K Hospital Social Work Department has deployed and maintained well in the past time. In addition, 80% of patients are supported with free meals, every day K Hospital coordinates
with charitable organizations and individuals supporting more than 1,000 free meals and porridge for patients according to the time frames advised by nutrition experts from 6am to 5pm; charity meal coupons are distributed by social workers to patients in difficult circumstances at their bedsides.
Since March 2020, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, implementing the instructions of the Government and the Ministry of Health, the Hospital has announced the temporary suspension of charity activities distributing rice and porridge at the hospital to ensure the safety of patients, their relatives, medical staff and charitable organizations. This is a major difficulty for the implementation of the task of mobilizing and receiving sponsorship from social workers when more than 90% of charity meals are provided by outside charities. With the determination to not let any patient of the hospital go without food during treatment, the Social Work Department has organized a campaign, calling on charitable organizations to contribute money to the hospital canteen to deploy a free meal bank model at the hospital. In 1 month of campaigning, the department has received 5,000 free meals to support patients in difficult circumstances. This shows that the K Hospital Social Work Department has truly become a trusted address for many poor patients who need support. Mobilizing support in the form of gifts and cash is also a form of mobilization and connecting resources that the Social Work Department has implemented and maintained well; this activity has supported and helped thousands of patients in difficult circumstances to have more determination, more funds and more opportunities to be treated. The forms of giving wheelchairs to receive smiles, giving wigs to female patients or the drug support program in cancer treatment have been implemented by the Hospital, but have only supported 30% of patients in need.

The results in Table 2.18 show that the number of patients in difficult circumstances (poor households, near-poor households) who received support from social workers from two times and three times or more accounted for 85.7%, the number of patients who only received support once accounted for 14.3%. Patients at K Hospital are different from patients at other hospitals, many patients have been treated at the hospital for 5-6 consecutive years, for many people, K Hospital has become their second home, some people spend longer in the hospital than at home. Therefore, the number of patients who have only received support, mobilization, and sponsorship once from social workers accounted for 14.3%, requiring social workers to try harder in mobilization and resource connection; hoping that patients coming to K Hospital for treatment will receive many times of support, both material and spiritual.
