As a result, the number of tourists to Europe is increasing: in 2015, five EU member states were among the world's top 10 destinations. According to UNWTO (World Tourism Organization) statistics, in 2016, 28 EU countries welcomed 499 million foreign tourists; this corresponds to an increase of 4% (21 million) compared to 2015. This is the seventh consecutive year in which the number of tourists in Europe has increased, so building and developing European tourism products is a strategy that travel companies are aiming for.
2.2.1.2. Building European tourism products
Diversify European tourism types
Due to the rapid increase in the demand for travel and exploration of Europe among Vietnamese people, in order to meet this demand, Viet Travel Joint Stock Company - Vietnam Tourism continuously researches and improves services, diversifies European tourism products, launches especially useful European tourism packages, and brings the best service utilities to customers. The company has built an Out-bound Tourism Center to serve Vietnamese tourists going abroad.
In the European tour program, to diversify products, the Company has designed two European tour packages to serve the needs of tourists; including:

From the above tourist destinations, the Company has researched the actual situation at the tourist destination as well as the needs of the tourist market, thereby building different tours, connecting groups of destinations accordingly. Currently, the Company has built and designed 16 different European tours to serve tourists. The Company's European tours depart from 3 locations in Vietnam: Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. The Company's European tours are designed with a duration of 7 to 15 days.

In the 9-day European tour, Viet Travel Joint Stock Company - Vietnam Travel has designed to include different tourist attractions from 5 European countries: France - Luxemburg - Germany - Netherlands - Belgium. In which, the 9-day European tour has a combination of many types of tourism such as: Cultural and historical tourism, resort tourism, discovery tourism. The diversification of the Company's tourism products is not only reflected in the number of tours but also in the schedule of each tour; that can be seen in this 9-day tour. The Company has designed a tour program to help visitors explore many tourist attractions such as:
+ First of all, tourists can visit and admire the capital of Paris, France with the most famous sights in the world. Tourists can stop at the city of Reims in the Champagne wine region - "the capital of the Champagne country" 130km northeast of Paris. Reims is the hometown of the most famous sparkling wine in the world.
+ Next, tourists will visit Luxembourg, a dynamic, elegant, peaceful country with the pride of being the "green heart of Europe". Luxembourg is nestled between the "giants" of France, Germany, Belgium, and is a World Cultural Heritage recognized by UNESCO as the "European Capital of Culture" in 1995 and 2007. In Luxembourg, tourists will visit the highlights: Pont Adolphe Bridge, the Legislative Institute (Place de Constitution) where debates and votes on bills take place, the central square of the capital Luxembourg, Pont Adolphe - the most famous and beautiful bridge in the capital Luxembourg.
After leaving Luxembourg, tourists will head straight to the German border; the Company's tour guide will take the group to visit the historic city of Trier, the oldest city in Germany and the birthplace of leader Karl Marx; a thinker, political economist, revolutionary leader of the International Workingmen's Association. Here, tourists will visit the outside of the birthplace of leader Karl Marx, now considered a museum preserving images and memorabilia of Karl Marx; visit
Visit the Trier Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the city and also the largest church in Trier, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; visit the Porta Nigra, a large Roman city gate. In 1986, it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, a Roman monument.
Next, tourists will travel to Konlenz, a town located on the Rhine and Mosel river basins; here tourists will visit Ruedesheim to see the Niederwald Memorial, a monument built in the late 19th century to commemorate the birth of the German Empire.

France is the final stop on the tour, tourists are taken on a Paris adventure with a trip along the famous Champs Elysees.
Place de la Concorde - played an important role in one of the darkest chapters of the French Revolution; Arc de Triomphe - Arc de Triomphe, one of the famous historical symbols of France; L'hotel National des Invaliden - Napoleon's tomb; Louvre Museum; Eiffel Tower - the most famous symbol of France, built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the success of the French Revolution; Haussmann Avenue, a shopping paradise in the heart of Paris, where you will be free to shop; Notre Dame Cathedral is a Catholic church representing the Gothic architectural style. Besides the tour schedule, tourists also have free time to visit Paris.
Thus, it can be seen that this 9-day European tour was built by the Company with extremely diverse and rich sightseeing contents; according to the Company's statistics from 2010 to present, the group has organized 32 9-day tours to Hanoi - France - Luxemburg - Germany - Netherlands - Belgium, with more than 900 tourists. Total revenue reached more than 38.4 billion (VND), of which the profit was more than 9.6 billion (VND).
Currently, the Free And Easy European tourism type is attracting customers thanks to the advantages of low prices and proactive time. Therefore, in addition to the usual sightseeing tours, the Company has built and designed the Free And Easy tour to meet the needs of tourists. The Company's Free And Easy European product package includes: hotel rooms, breakfast at the hotel, means of transportation, sightseeing in the prescribed schedule, local tour guide. For the Free And Easy tour, there are advantages such as customers are free to choose the time for the journey to explore Europe; free to choose the departure date and time of the flight, the tour cost depends on the customer's choice, can be lower or higher than the published price. In addition, customers will be free to choose the time of stay at the hotel (can stay longer, visit relatives or combine work...).
With the self-selection form, tourists will be proactive in visiting tourist attractions with suitable time for themselves; in this 9-day European tour, the Company has selected famous and typical tourist attractions of the countries to
take tourists on tours. In each city, tourists will be able to visit, learn, explore and enjoy many famous sights, many museums, palaces with unique architecture from the European Renaissance; so this is also one of the new tours that is popular with tourists. According to statistics from Viet Travel Joint Stock Company - Vietnam Tourism, since 2013, the Free And Easy European tour has attracted more tourists. From 2014 to 2016, the Company has taken more than 420 tourists on the Free And Easy European tour: Hanoi - France - Switzerland - Italy - Vatican - Monaco for 12 days. The total revenue achieved was 10.8 billion (VND), of which the profit was
4.1 billion (VND). Thus, the innovation and diversity not only in tourist destinations but also in forms and types of tourism have helped the Company increase its competitiveness, attract tourists, thereby bringing high business efficiency.
- Tours on special occasions:
In addition to tours organized at any time of the year, on special holidays, the Company also builds special European tourism products to serve tourists during the holidays. Some tours such as: Italy Tet 2017 tour: Hanoi - Rome - Pisa - Florence - Venice - Milan; European Tet 2017 tour: Hanoi - Italy - Switzerland - France; Hanoi - France - Italy tour during Lavender season; European tour on April 30: Germany - Netherlands - Belgium - France; these are occasions when tourists have a great demand for travel. Therefore, designing tours on special holidays will attract and meet the needs of tourists.
