However, because the data of Vietnamese commercial banks are not publicly and uniformly published, this causes the collected panel data to lack many observations. Although the number of missing observations does not affect the panel data, does not cause imbalance and the thesis has tried to overcome the data gaps, this is still a limitation of the thesis. Therefore, the next research direction is to expand the research sample combined with comparing the level of risk acceptance and financial stability of banking groups in Vietnam.
Second, the study only considered the rediscount rate tool representing monetary policy. Therefore, the next research direction is to analyze the impact of other tools on the risk tolerance of commercial banks.
Third, although many factors have been updated in the process of building the research model affecting the level of risk acceptance and financial stability, future studies need to consider more factors such as ownership structure and competition on the level of risk acceptance.
Fourth, future studies can add the Z-Score coefficient to assess the financial stability of commercial banks to further strengthen the stability of the conclusions as well as expand the dependent variable for the study; thereby providing more perspectives and evidence for this research direction.
