introductory, but focused, the remaining 1/2 of the time focuses on Ly Hue.
To teach Ly Hue effectively, one of the important things is to identify what Ly Hue is? Through a comprehensive analysis, we have pointed out the artistic values (music, lyrics) of this folk music genre. That is one of the important points for Ly Hue to deserve preferential treatment in terms of duration and number of songs in the program adjustment.
After adjusting the program accordingly, we must ask for guidance from the Academy's Board of Directors, agree with the leaders of the Training Department and the Board of Directors of the Theory - Composition - Conducting Department on the implementation direction to teach singing Ly Hue in the general program of Vietnamese Folk Songs . Once there is agreement, we continue to clarify the steps to teach singing a Ly Hue song to intermediate music students at the Academy.
All the issues presented in chapter 4 are mainly operated on the basis of LV Bertalanffi's General System Theory and VAVakhramê-ép's Basic Music Theory . The results achieved can essentially be considered as measures for teaching Hue Ly singing. These measures are applied to experimental teaching for intermediate music students at Hue Academy of Music. Subjectively, we believe that: the measures applied for experimental teaching are feasible and can be applied to teaching folk songs in general and teaching Hue Ly singing in particular at Hue Academy of Music. CONCLUDE

As one of the typical folk genres of the working people in Thua Thien Hue in the past, Hue Ly contains many cultural and artistic values, which is why it has a strong attraction for researchers of folk culture and folk music. Many issues of Hue Ly have been researched and exploited and brought certain results, however, up to now, there have been few research works on teaching Hue Ly in centers and schools. Therefore, research on teaching Hue Ly to intermediate students at Hue Academy of Music certainly does not overlap with previously published or announced works.
Hue Academy of Music is one of the three largest and most prestigious professional music training centers in our country. Since its establishment, the Academy has trained thousands of musicians, singers, composers, theorists, and music teachers at intermediate, university, and graduate levels, mainly for the provinces in the Central Highlands region. In addition to training, the Academy also has the task of scientific research and applying those achievements to practice. In particular, the Academy also participates in the work of preserving and promoting the unique musical heritage of the Central Highlands region.
Currently, Hue Academy of Music has 8 faculties. In the training program of the university system of music education and the intermediate level of specialized training, there is a subject of Vietnamese folk songs . The content of the program, previously compiled according to 06 units of study, in which 37 songs are introduced, which are folk songs from the three regions of North - Central - South. The teaching object is for 3rd year students of music education and 2nd year intermediate students of music major. The goal of the subject is to equip students with the necessary knowledge of Vietnamese folk songs, grasp the musical characteristics of each specific region through analyzing and teaching folk songs. In general,
The content compiled for the subject is quite rich and diverse. However, up to now, this content only partially meets the teaching process of Vietnamese Folk Songs at the Academy.
Compared to other majors trained at the university level, the number of intermediate level students majoring in music is always larger. They are mainly born in the provinces neighboring Hue such as Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Da Nang and some students from the provinces in the Central Highlands, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Ha Tinh... Compared to music pedagogy students at the Academy, students at Hue College of Culture and Arts have a somewhat superior talent, but are not as good as students at the Vietnam National Academy of Music and Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. Particularly with the subject of Vietnamese Folk Songs , students have many advantages in singing folk songs from the Central and Southern regions, but have difficulty learning some folk songs from the Northern Delta region.
The teaching staff of Vietnamese Folk Songs for intermediate students are teachers from the Faculty of Theory - Composition - Conducting. In general, the teachers are very young and talented, but in terms of teaching folk songs, in terms of class organization, understanding and teaching methods, they have little experience. In addition, the management of the leaders at the Academy is not close to the teaching of lecturers, combined with the view that Vietnamese Folk Songs is only a minor subject, so the quality of teaching and learning does not achieve the desired results.
Ly Hue is one of the unique folk music genres of the people of Thua Thien Hue and it is closely associated with the space of Hue. Through the characteristics of melody, lyrics, performance form..., it has created a unique value and appearance of Ly Hue. Looking at the aspect of cultural and social life, Ly Hue can be considered a spiritual friend of the people, on the other hand, it also contributes to making Hue culture more diverse. However, today Ly Hue is being lost. Therefore, introducing this music genre into teaching for intermediate music students at Hue Academy of Music is necessary, both to meet the needs
training, both in line with the direction of preserving and promoting national culture of our Party in the current period of innovation and integration.
From the well-founded views and assessments, originating from the reality of being a student as well as my own working process at the Hue Academy of Music, we believe that: to improve the quality of teaching Vietnamese Folk Songs , especially teaching Hue Ly, it is necessary to converge many issues. With that way of thinking, a model of teaching Vietnamese Folk Songs , specifically teaching Hue Ly lessons, has been built. From determining the qualifications of lecturers to adjusting the program, then the operations of arranging classes, how to start, analyze lessons, practice voice and combine traditional and modern teaching methods... although simple, but through experimentation, it has brought about the desired results. That can be considered one of the significant contributions of the thesis.
