Outstanding loans by loan purpose:

Outstanding loans for production and business of science and technology enterprises are increasing in the period 2017 - 2019. Specifically, in 2017, outstanding loans for production and business of science and technology enterprises were 51,554.8 million VND; in 2018, it increased to 73,468.0 million VND, an increase of 21,913.2 million VND, equivalent to 29.83%; in 2019, it continued to increase to 107,959.6 million VND, an increase of 34,491.5 million VND. This growth shows that MBBank Hue is increasingly attracting a large number of customers, the bank's reputation is increasingly enhanced. In addition, it also shows that the bank is aiming at science and technology enterprises because although the amount of loans from science and technology enterprises is small, a large number will bring great profits. Most of the businesses that borrow capital are small businesses, selling goods at markets or shopping malls... they need capital to circulate goods, their transactions with banks are many times a year. This is the reason that contributes to the growth of revenue as well as profits of the bank in the period 2017 - 2019.

In general, the outstanding debt of science and technology for the purpose of serving life has also increased over the years, but the proportion has decreased. In 2017, this outstanding debt was 79,627.9 million VND (accounting for 60.7%); in 2018, it was 105,242.8 million VND (accounting for 58.89%), an increase of 24.34% compared to 2017; in 2019, it was 153,064.5 million VND (accounting for 58.64%), an increase of 31.24% compared to 2018. The decrease in the proportion of outstanding debt of science and technology for the purpose of serving life is due to the decrease in the indicators of buying, building, repairing houses, studying abroad/traveling, while the proportion of buying cars has increased. The number of customers borrowing money to buy cars is increasing because banks have many preferential policies for this item and banks have links with showrooms to find customers, so the car quota is increasing rapidly.

Debt collection turnover has increased over the years, firstly because MBBank has effectively applied debt collection policies for customers such as closely monitoring risky debts, focusing on resolving overdue debts. Secondly, it is because customers are reputable and responsible for their debts. Thirdly, it is due to meticulousness in assessing customer profiles, limiting lending to customers with potential risks.

Debt collection turnover by loan term:

In general, short-term, medium- and long-term science and technology investment has increased over the years, but the proportion in total medium- and long-term science and technology investment is larger (over 50%).

Short-term loan term, DSTN KHCN in 2017 was 24,465.4 million VND; in 2018 compared to 2017, it increased by 99.62%, this is the reason why total debt collection in 2018 increased rapidly. In 2019 compared to 2018, it increased by 17.93%.

As for medium and long-term loans, in 2017, the DSTN KHCN was 37,378.4 million VND. In 2018, this number increased to 55,205.4 million VND, an increase of 47.69% compared to 2017. In 2019, it continued to increase to 82,438.9 million VND, an increase of 49.33% compared to 2018.

In the past three years, in addition to strengthening lending activities, debt collection has also been of concern. The evidence is the situation of loan collection in general.

more. This is also proof of the effectiveness of science and technology lending.
