Step 3: Add more content to your map.

Add map notes to add new objects on the map.

Select the type of note you want and proceed to take the note.

After annotation will display descriptive text, images and diagrams for the objects on the map in a pop-up window .

+ Fill in all information in the pop-up window , then select “Close” to save the information

+ Select “Content” to change the class name

Step 4: Save and share your map. Create a title and description for your map, then share it with others.

2.2.2.2. Steps to create a presentation using the StoryMap tool on the ArcGIS Online platform

There are two ways to create a presentation on StoryMap:

Method 1 : Use the "Create presentation" tool in the right corner of the software interface

2.2.3. Some principles, requirements and notes when designing and using StoryMap tool in teaching world civilizations in history at Chuong My A High School, Hanoi.

Basically, StoryMap is a geospatial tool and to apply geospatial tools in lessons, it also requires its own rules to guide the lesson to success. Here are some basic principles that a teacher needs to have to design and use StoryMap tools in teaching in general and teaching History in particular.

First, teachers need to carefully study the content of the lesson they intend to use the StoryMap tool for: Thoroughly studying the content of the lesson is extremely important because it helps teachers determine whether the lesson is suitable for application, whether applying StoryMap is effective or not, or whether StoryMap affects the objectives of the lesson. From the analysis of the lesson content system above, we see that not all lessons are suitable for applying StoryMap and not all StoryMap content is highly effective in the teaching and learning process.

Second, teachers need to clearly define the purpose of using StoryMap in the lesson: Determining the purpose of using StoryMap in the lesson will help teachers better orient the construction of StoryMap and determine how to apply StoryMap in the lesson. Because if teachers do not determine the purpose of using StoryMap? What role does it play in the lesson? It will lead to a situation where teachers cannot determine the direction and build core content for StoryMap. Or we may use StoryMap in the wrong place, the right content, which reduces the quality of the lesson, StoryMap does not play its proper role in the classroom.

Third, teachers must choose the appropriate StoryMap application method for the lesson: Each lesson has different content, so the teaching method for each lesson is also different. Therefore, to be suitable for the content, bring the lesson to the right goal and to increase the effectiveness of the teaching method, it is necessary to determine the appropriate StoryMap applications.

Fourth, the process of exploiting StoryMap in the classroom must be consistent with the duration of the lesson in class: In the process of preparing and using StoryMap in the classroom, it is necessary to adjust it to suit the class time. If the lesson using StoryMap takes more time than the normal method, causing the lesson plan to burn out, it needs to be adjusted to suit the class time. Because if the use of StoryMap is not consistent with the duration of the lesson in class, the teacher will not be able to convey all the knowledge to the students, affecting the teacher's educational process, bringing about poor learning results for the students.

Some requirements and notes on content when using StoryMap in teaching world civilizations in history at Chuong My A High School, Hanoi.

The knowledge content used to create StoryMap must be accurate. This greatly affects the effectiveness of the lecture and the value of StoryMap. As we know, a StoryMap product is created by collecting, storing, and analyzing data about locations on the map. If the collected knowledge is incorrect, it will lead to errors in establishing the map and analyzing data in the map. For example, if we want to build information about the foundations of ancient Eastern and Western countries, we need to find out where the locations of those ancient countries are. This is very difficult because if we look up the location of ancient countries in the search section in StoryMap, we will find the location and place names of the countries on the map, but in reality, the location and place names of the countries have changed compared to the original.

ancient times. If you do not carefully and accurately research the location, it will lead to marking the wrong location and creating the wrong map. When creating the wrong map, it will make the transfer of knowledge to students inaccurate. Or in the process of building and analyzing data, there will also be many difficulties.

To be able to accurately collect knowledge content for the StoryMap tool, the following principles must be followed:

- Regarding the location, we should investigate the history of that location and the current information of the location such as: has the location changed its name, does it still exist, what is the current situation at the location. This will help us find and mark the location accurately. At the same time, enrich the information about the location in the pop-up window.

- Regarding the area, we need to look up the scope of the area clearly. We can investigate through maps related to the area that needs to be marked and need to look at written documents about that area to see which countries, regions that area includes, where it extends from, from which location to which location. If we determine the area based on a country, states, states, emirates or based on rivers, lakes,... then we should also investigate the history of the countries, states, states, emirates, rivers, lakes to see if there are any changes because over such a long time the administrative boundaries of the countries, states, states,...

- Information, data on text, video, images, audio, and figures must also be taken from reliable sources.

It is necessary to choose the right teaching content to apply the StoryMap tool . This requirement will help teachers convey that content through StoryMap in the best way and StoryMap will also promote its true value. Typically, lesson 3, history 10 (standard program): Ancient Eastern countries, if the teacher chooses the content of section "3. Ancient Eastern society and 4. Professional regime
