PROBLEM STATEMENT

1. Urgency of the topic

The steady development of the economy and the environmental sector is the foundation for political and social stability and improving the quality of life of the people. Our country has been gradually implementing the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country and has achieved many great achievements in many fields. Along with the development of the country, the task of environmental protection has always been of concern to the Party and the State. Environmental protection is both a goal and one of the basic contents of sustainable development. Since the law on environmental protection was enacted, along with propaganda on mass media, awareness of environmental protection among all levels of sectors and people has been significantly raised. However, the increase in population and high speed of socio-economic development have increased human activities in production, business, housing needs, and living, while having a strong and long-term impact on the environment.

The characteristic of the process of industrialization and modernization of the country is the development of science and technology, especially production techniques, many types of paper, packaging boxes are made mainly of nylon, plastic, tin ... very convenient, contributing to changing the style and living habits of many people from rural to urban areas, the living needs of people are increasing and always being met promptly. However, besides those positive aspects, the amount of domestic waste (RTSH) discharged into the environment is increasing, especially in areas with high population density and rapid socio-economic development. Waste discharged into the environment causes the environmental landscape to change in a negative direction and directly affects people's lives.

Nowadays, environmental pollution is an urgent problem in every country and the world and there are many solutions to overcome and minimize the consequences.
