Thai Nguyen City Gardening Association is a social-professional organization of technical nature of the masses operating voluntarily, united, cooperating and helping each other as the core to develop VAC economy (garden, pond, barn) to ensure nutrition for families, increase income, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, improve living standards, get rich from commodity production, contribute to building sustainable agricultural development, improve environmental protection, national resources, build new rural areas in the direction of industrialization and modernization. Thai Nguyen City Gardening Association was established on November 20, 1990 by the decision of Thai Nguyen City People's Committee.
The Association has the following tasks:

The exhibition of ornamental plants is one of the series of activities to celebrate the third Thai Nguyen - Vietnam Tea Festival. This is also an opportunity for gardeners, clubs, and associations of ornamental plants inside and outside the province to display their best products, exchange, learn and introduce their products. The exhibition attracted the participation of more than 50 units inside and outside the province with about 9,500 works, including ornamental plants, natural ornamental plants, driftwood, rocks, orchids, birds, animals, ornamental rocks, ornamental flowers, wooden handicrafts... displayed on Doi Can, Nguyen Du and Nha Trang streets, Thai Nguyen city. More than 300 unique ornamental art works have been selected by the Organizing Committee to display on the median strip of Doi Can street.

The City Literature and Arts Association is the cradle for nurturing young writers and poets who have created many valuable literary and artistic works, works of research and literary and artistic criticism that reflect the social life of the locality.
