SUMMARY

The thesis "STUDY OF FACTORS AFFECTING TOURIST SATISFACTION ON THE QUALITY OF COMMUNITY TOURISM SERVICES IN CAN THO CITY" was

The study was conducted to analyze the participation of households in tourism activities and factors affecting tourists' satisfaction with the quality of tourism services in Can Tho city. Primary data were collected from 16 households participating in tourism and 197 tourists visiting Con Son. The analysis methods used in the thesis include: descriptive statistics, Cronbach's Alpha scale testing, exploratory factor analysis, and linear regression. The research results show that tourism activities are still limited, and entertainment activities for tourists do not have unique features that can be easily found in any other ecotourism destination. Tourist destinations in Con Son have not yet formed any form of promotion for local tourism activities. Households participating in local tourism activities still face difficulties that limit their ability to operate tourism activities such as: poor infrastructure, lack of additional capital for tourism activities, lack of labor resources, lack of connection between tourist destinations, etc. There are 5 factors affecting tourist satisfaction including: trust, responsiveness, image, assurance and tangibility. The proposed policy implications to help community tourism activities in Con Son improve the quality of tourism services include: (i) Solutions on tangibility; (ii) Solutions on assurance; (iii) Solutions on responsiveness; (iv) Solutions on image; (v) Solutions on trust.

ABSTRACT

Thesis "STUDYING FACTORS AFFECTING THE SATISFACTION OF TRAVELERS ON THE QUALITY OF COMMUNITY TRAVEL

IN CAN THO CITY" was conducted to analyze household participation in tourism activities and factors affecting the satisfaction of tourists about the quality of tourism services in Can Tho city. Primary data was collected from 16 households participating in tourism and 197 visitors to visit Son Con Analytical methods used in the thesis include: Descriptive Statistics, Cronbach's Alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Linear Regression The research results show that tourism activities are still limited, not specific and easy to find in any other ecotourism at Son Son have not formed any form of promotion for local tourism. Households have difficulties when participating in tourism such as, poor infrastructure, lack of capital for tourism, lack of labor resources, lack of linkage between households participating in tourism, etc factors that affect the satisfaction of tourists solutions: Reliability, Responsiveness, Image, Security and Facilities. The proposed policy implications for community-based tourism at Son island to improve the quality of tourism services including: (i) Infrastructure; (ii) Security solution; (iii) Response solution; (iv) Photo solutions; (v) Reliable solution.
