3.5. SUMMARY OF CHAPTER 3

Petition to Danang City People's Committee

Developing any industry faces difficulties and fierce competition between businesses, localities and countries. To survive in the period of economic integration and being heavily affected by the world economic downturn, the tourism sector in general and event tourism in particular cannot avoid these things. Researching and establishing a synchronous development strategy and plan to ensure the exploitation and development of this type of tourism requires a lot of effort, money, policies, reasonable mechanisms as well as short-term and long-term orientations of businesses and local authorities. Only then can we ensure sustainable development for EVENT tourism in Da Nang. Hopefully, these potentials and strategic plans will help Da Nang develop EVENT tourism - associated with the EVENT CITY of the whole country.

CONCLUDE

With favorable natural landscapes, beautiful beaches, and a growing system of hotels and resorts, Da Nang will have an advantage in promoting event tourism - a fairly new type of tourism in Vietnam, which is expected to bring high profits compared to other types of tourism, creating many jobs for people and at the same time connecting cultural, economic and social exchanges between countries in the region as well as around the world.

Choosing and developing event tourism can be considered a new direction with many prospects for Vietnam tourism in general and Da Nang tourism in particular. Overcoming challenges, Da Nang EVENT tourism has initially achieved success and is developing steadily, bringing high profits to the city and increasingly asserting itself with other places in the country and neighboring regions.

Although having strengths and advantages in many aspects, the requirements of the business process and exploitation, developing EVENT tourism effectively, sustainably and long-term have posed for Da Nang tourism industry breakthrough solutions in the development strategy of this type of tourism with high economic value.

Through studying the current situation of EVENT tourism development in Da Nang, I would like to provide some insights into the current situation, advantages and solutions for developing EVENT tourism in Da Nang in the coming time. However, due to the relatively large scope of the topic and limited access to data, it is inevitable that there will be shortcomings in the process of implementing the topic. Therefore, I look forward to receiving comments from teachers and experts in the field so that the topic can be completed and effectively applied in practice.
