1. Results achieved

CONCLUDE

- Zabbix monitoring software is based on agent/server mechanism. With this mechanism, monitoring is more comprehensive thanks to the agent.

- The system has an open structure that allows flexible and easy development, customization, and integration with other systems.

- The system allows monitoring of status, statistical parameters of devices as well as services over time.

- However, the team has tried their best to only stop at the level of monitoring and supervising the server such as monitoring machine resources and traffic capacity.

2. Advantages - disadvantages Advantages

- Display statistical parameters: CPU, RAM, storage space, processes, traffic on interfaces,.... of the device over time, visually.

- Monitor most network devices, service applications (SMTP, POP3, HTTP, FTP,....)

- Develop incidents, develop attacks quickly to alert network administrators.

Defect:

- Complex and difficult installation.

3. Development direction

- Deeper study of Zabbix network monitoring system and network monitoring support tools.

- Develop functions on Zabbix such as: Warning function via SMS, Mail,...
