low. The economy develops mainly in towns and communes near Bac Ninh city and Hanoi city.

Although there is a shift in the labor structure between economic sectors, it is still slow, low quality, and not adapted to the shift of other production resources. People's lives and incomes are still lower than the average of the whole province, the gap between rich and poor is increasing, rural security and social order still have many pressing issues that are slow to be resolved.

This is one of the favorable conditions for the district to develop its economy in the future. Nature does not have many advantages for the district, but currently the industries in the district are quite developed. Due to the large population, it has created an abundant labor force with increasingly improved labor qualifications and a large consumer market; modern infrastructure and technical facilities are invested; reasonable industrial development policies... all have created the driving force for the industrial development of the district.

In recent years, the district has achieved many important achievements: The total production value of the district has continuously increased, reaching 7,072.9 billion VND in 2014, the economic growth rate of the district has always been high, the average income per capita has increased significantly. The economic structure is shifting towards progress, reducing the proportion of agriculture - forestry - fishery, increasing the proportion of industry - construction and services. The socio-cultural fields, the material and spiritual life of the people are increasingly improved, ensuring national security and defense.
